My friend said that the commercial Planex makes with the girl running down the movie theater throwing a package at Mom while all the gray guys watch is a parody of a commercial from the 80s.  Does anyone know what it was?  I don't remember seeing that one on TV....

Yes it is. I think I found the originally commercial from apple / mac a 2.4 MB apple quick-time video

Or google around, search for macintosh commercial 1984, I'm sure there will be videos in better quality.

Yep.  I used to like the Planex commercial before, but it's good to know the background behind it.  And I love when the gray guy says, "Hey, we were watching that!!!"

That commercial is from the Apple commercial for Macintosh that only aired once EVER (duh duh duuuh) during the 1984 Super Bowl.
