MAybe sometime in the future the tubes were upgraded to include nanobot technology - after all, the tubes could have been originally built just to freezre people, assuming that the future cryogenic scientists would sort the problem out themselves.

If the future can include baconated grapefruit and What-if machines, I don't think nanotechnology to repair cryogenically frozen cells would be too much of a hassle.

Edit: Ooo, my first top of the page post!  :D

First of all, the process of freezing a person is called cryonics, cryogenics is just the term to describe the low temperatures involved with cryonics.

Water expands when frozen, the body is filled with ALOT of water, including the insides of cells, and when the body is frozen, cells expand and explode.

Plus, the frogs that hibernate and are frozen are still ALIVE when they were frozen, cryonics freezes DEAD people.

Nanotechnology...I highly doubt that it will be able to repair 10 trillion cells in the body.

I actualy read a collem about this!  They inject the dead people with a cemical to stop the cells tearing.  Some peole freeze just there heads.

I heard that the problem with cryonics is the body gets all messed up from the ice crystals so they have to use anti-freeze which is highly poisenous.
