Okay, completely disregard everything I have said in this forum, I was young and naive. Oh yeah! And really, really stupid.

This time I have mathematically reworked my list and have shortened it to top 11. It's gonna be fun on the bun!

11. Roswell That Ends Well
10. The Why of Fry
9. Jurassic Bark
8. The Farnsworth Parabox

6. The Late Phillip J. Fry
5. I, Roommate
4. The Luck of the Fryrish
3. The Prisoner of Benda
2. Time Keeps on Slippin'
1. The Devil's Hands Are Idle Playthings

I'll do my best not to regret this one in another week and a half.

I'll give you TLPJF and TPOB.  And I did enjoy LN (though it seems many people did not), Rebirth, and Mutants are Revolting but once I get my list together, I don't think they will make my top 10; there are just too many good episodes out there.

I'm glad the season turned out as good as it did...after Rebirth, the next few episodes (up till Lethal Inspection) were horrible in my opinion and I feared Futurama was done for in comparison to the Original 6 run.  Once TLPJF episode aired, everything for the most part seemed to be "kicked up a notch.  BAM!!"

true,, true. but i think that. when the next season in 2011 comes on air.  they will have fixed the small problems,
i liked TLPJF. but i kinda want to know why people liked it so much?. it sure was funny but still think that TMAR was just ash great? :)
but every man/women/mutant. has there on view on it i think. hehe

That is why I am really looking forward to "Season 7"...since the 2nd half of this season was so good (and with them having enough time to produce the new episodes and really do them well), I think next season will be just as good if not better.

For my opinion on TMAR, just read what I posted in that thread.  The idea was great and for the most part, well executed...it's just one thing (for me a big thing...ie pet peeve) that brought it down for me.

Hopefully, at the end of Season 7, we won't have to play the "will they or won't they pick up the show again for another year" game.  Sure feels like a parody to the Brett Farve (NFL football player in case you are not from the USA) saga.

It's very, very hard to narrow them down. But my absolute favouite five episodes to watch, that I could watch again, and again, and again (even if I was confined to a padded cell with a TV in the nuthouse for the rest of my life) have to be:

5. Less Than Hero
4. The Farnsworth Parabox
3. Three Hundred Big Boys
2. The Prisoner of Benda
1. The Sting

And in no particular order, honourable mentions for: How Hermes Requisitioned His Groove Back, War is the H-Word, Teenage Mutant Leela's Hurdles, The Devil's Hands Are Idle Playthings, Amazon Women In the Mood, Roswell that Ends Well, The Late Phillip J. Fry, The Mutants are Revolting, Proposition Infinity (having rewatched it yesterday after seeing it only once and being able to come into it as any old episode of Futurama, I actually found it to be one of the best of Season 6) and Lethal Inspection. These I would also happily watch forever and ever if confined to a padded cell. But those five I listed are my absolute personal favourites.

Here's a top 25 list, for kicks:

25. The Birdbot of Ice-Catraz
24. Bend Her
23. Lethal Inspection
22. Jurassic Bark
21. Parasites Lost
20. Godfellas
19. The Day the Earth Stood Stupid
18. The Late Philip J. Fry
17. The Farnsworth Parabox
16. The Prisoner of Benda
15. Teenage Mutant Leela's Hurdles
14. The Luck of the Fryrish
13. Amazon Women in the Mood
12. A Bicyclops Built for Two
11. The Why of Fry
10. The Series Has Landed
9. Xmas Story
8. Less Than Hero
7. Leela's Homeworld
6. The Devil's Hands Are Idle Playthings
5. The Problem With Popplers
4. Time Keeps on Slipping
3. Roswell That Ends Well
2. Insane in the Mainframe
1. The Sting

I always suck at ranking things after about number ten, so I suppose the placement of these episodes might be a bit flexible. That top three, at least, is more or less stable. And three season six episodes made their way in there, which is definitely a good thing.

The Simpsons was known for having really, really funny good episodes. Futurama has a bunch of those, too. Anyone name a bunch?
Here's my picks:
The Devil's Hands are Idle Playthings
A Head in the Polls
(If this counts,) Bender's Big Score

I'd like to hear your thoughts. In the meantime, I'll go draw myself an icon. Ca't wait to see which episodes to watch tomorrow!

Bender's Big Score is, as much as I love it, one of the least funny 'episodes' of the show ever.

It is definitely a more serious episode, addressing Leela and Fry. I think that is what Cohen intended. Considering how the original series ended, I think it was a good move. Although I can recall a lot of scenes in that movie that were hilarious. I think you  need to re watch this one. To go as far to say that it is the least funny episode out of the entire futurama universe, I think is a stretch.

Had to register just for this  :)

It's obviously episodes like Parabox, Godfellas, Time Keeps On Slippin', The Sting and TDHAIP that made Futurama so priceless.

I also love The Deep South, or the part in which they fish.

I think the beer brewing side story was better than the main story arc. It is still an enjoyable episode to watch.
