I don't mind threads getting closed for lewd comments or aggression but there were some good threads going that got closed either for no apparent reason or because they were viewed as repetitive.
Now I like quote games as much as the next guy but closing down informative threads w/6-10 hits is wrong, I can sit around and watch the show if I want to hear quotes.
I signed up to PEEL to learn from the wisdom of true Futurama fans and have a little fun.

I'm afraid you don't make the rules, lad.
Alas, we're all living in the shadow of the apocryphal 'crash' of 2002. Threads were lost, precious messages were banished to the neither realms for all time etc.
Only the ancients' remember it now, and they take great steps to ensure that the ancient seals do not burst open and wreak havoc once more. Little mud-men like you and I must live in this strange new world, taking note of the precepts that ensure the health and long-life of the board.

Basically, it seems that they wish to avoid clutter, so they try to ensure that board remains free of clutter (i.e. unessessary threads etc.). Either that or they just hate you. Most of the mods seem fair enough, and won't viciously attack your threads unless you've spefically pissed them off (and even then you'd probably just get banned).

Anyway, that is the situation as I understand it. Of course, I may have misconstruded something along the way, so we'll see if my story is confirmed, or if I'm lamblasted with ridicule.
Just hang around, follow the rules, and you WILL learn bits of Futurama wisdom, and maybe... just maybe, you might learn a little about yourself.

Simp-o-Rama, you might want to read the PEEL FAQ.

While you're at it, reading the Rules of the Road might be helpful, too.

Oh, and don't be surprised when this thread gets closed like the others.
