Future of Futurama

I'd like answers/opinions on the following questions...

1. What is the main obstacle to producing more episodes of Futurama? Is Fox refusing to sell the rights, or is it just that no one has the money to purchase the rights?

2. Would it be feasible to form a corporation which would sell shares of stock, using the money generated from the sales of the stock to fund new episodes? I figure that the shareholders could be repaid with advertising revenue and DVD sales.

I do not know what the law is like wherever you are posting from Angelo, but don't get me started on what is illegal about that second idea. I would have a field day cutting that transaction to pieces.

I havent been round here too long but im certain everyone has been over the reasons for the fact that there is no more Futurama.
Hell, there was even talk of us all sending in $10 to pay for production of one more episode! Craaaazy!haha!

I just came from "Could it be?" and feel what I wrote there works here too.
Cut and paste baby...cut and paste.

I keep hearing the same rumours. That would be great if Futurama got picked up again.....Wow!
I'm gonna go on the Rough Draft Studios Site to try and milk the production company and artists for more info.
