Don't know if any of you have noticed but it looks like Futurama won't be on Sky One this week and has been replaced by 'Malcom In the Middle' at 7.00pm on Sundays.

Please tell me some of you have information to the contrary, not that I have anything against Malcom but I still wanna watch Futurama.   :(

Sorry, nasteve, I understand that you are right. But Sky One a;ways rotate King of the Hill, Malcolm in the Middle, Futurama and Family Guy so I imagine it'll be back in a new slot soon enough.

Channel Four still show Futurama, so all is not- oh, wait, it is.

If it was on channel 5 it would not be cut, in fact they would probably insist that swearing and gratuitous sex and nudity were added  :p

Looks like Futurama has ended on channel4 aswell. It isn't going to be on next tuesday. And they didn't even show 'The problem with popplers' or 'Anthology of Interest I'   :(

So what the hell are we gonna do now?

Futurama was on Channel 4 today.... Although for the last couple of weeks the TV listings said it was meant to be a double bill, although they've been replacing the second episode with a random Friends episode.

However it seems they're only showing old episodes.... todays one was "The series has landed"  (at least I think thats what its called.)  They stopped showing newer ones a few weeks ago  :(

Welcome Tempest  :)

I'm rather glad there wasn't a new episode tonight, I forgot what day it is and missed it

Yeah what is happening, last week was meant to be the one about the popplers, which I havnt seen and then yesterday (tuesday) was meant to be the one with the 'what-if'? machine, again friends were on.
C4 said they are changin their schedule due to the events in america.  If this is true why show old repeats of futurama and not new ones?

maybe it was cause 'Anthology of Interest I' had a scene with Bender running a rampage in the y3k equivilent on New York.

But anyway according to the C4 website thats it, no more futurama next week, old or new

well, tuesdays seems dedicated to their new 'paint-balling' show X-Fire (pronounced cross fire).

And as they've commisioned it, its likely to be staying in the 6pm Tuesday for the next 13 weeks, as thats roughly how many eps they've made, so if Futurama is going to return to C4 anytime soon its gonna be at a different timeslot.

To be honest, with the cuts they're making, I wouldnt mind if they showed it after midnight.

I guess the possibility of a Sunday return is our only hope then... its doubtful they'll move it to a different time slot on Tuesdays.  Although I will check just to make sure.  There is hope for us yet!  :D
