You may be asking, "Who?!"

If anyone remembers the Comedy Central TV show "Beat the Geeks", he was the TV Geek.  He also before that appeared as a contestant on "Greed" with Chuck Woolery and actually shared in a $200,000 jackpot.  Paul also has his own website where he offers up his knowledge and other tidbits.

Anyway, for those of you with Comcast On-Demand, you can see "Beat the Geeks".  A round one question on an episode I saw recently (could be show 47 or 48 or 49) asked something along the lines of what Matt Groening's other TV show was besides "The Simpsons".  We know the answer is "Futurama", and the host then asked Paul if he thought the show was as good as his first effort.  Paul offered up a hearty reply with no explanation or further discussion:

"NOOOOOOOOOOO!"

Ouch!  Maybe this was in the early days of our favorite science fiction animated series, or else maybe Paul just really hates the show!  What can we do to win him over?    :D

Um, not care? Seriously, we shouldn't force people like stuff they don't. Sides that, you don't even say what he said.

Quite simply, Paul is just a fatass who doesn't like anything besides overdramafied piles horse dung like "The Sopranos" and "Sex In The City". Well written or not, I find them boring as hell.

The fact that he doesn't like Futurama didn't bring this opinion about, I've always had this opinion of him.

*Edit* Looking at the TV picks for this week on his site, he has picked two reality TV shows. I rest my case.

Wow, he was a contestant on "Greed"?  I was getting ready to blow off his opinion as that of some flash in the pan nobody until I saw that.

I quite liked Beat The Geeks whenever I got the opportunity to catch it.  Does anyone know if it is still in production?

I propose we arrange a second holocaust in which we murder everyone who does not watch Futurama on a daily basis.
