Bender is on the screen savers robot all-stars on Tech TV.  They put together the best robots of all time, and he was one of them.

I take a Special FX course at university and the other week I was looking at some of the second years course work. They have a project to create a full size animatronic robot. Anyway part of the research work is to make detailed notes on famous robots, Bender appears on practically every piece of work.
I think that Bender now clearly ranks as a well known piece of pop-culture.

I love Bender too.
Is it me or does Bender look like the robot on the glass window outside the comic book store in the simpsons?

Vaguely, I think Bender looks a little bit like the cardboard robot.

Well, he does have a human heart inside of him.. who's to say he doesn't have a liver along with it. I sure would.

I was looking at the list they had of every robot on TV ever... and it is sorely lacking. You could get a list that long from Futurama alone (just look at the wheel from Devil's Hands), not to mention Star Wars. And they don't even have Kryten!  Jeepers. Pathetic, that's what that is.
