I've done a bit of seaching, and I can't find an address to send concise and respectful greetings to either Matt Groening or David X Cohen. Does anyone know to where and to whom these should be addressed? Also how do you upload your own avatar?
Thank you!

Well DXC said his email was davidxcohen@aol.com

but that could be fake.

Wecome to Peel, be sure to read the manual.
As for the avatar question, go here and post it with Upload to Custom underneath.

I have no idea about the email address, though someone here must know.

Why not send a real, honest-to-god snail-mail? I'm sure that'll be more appreciated.

Hello all!

I bet it would be rare to get a reply on snail or e-mail. Most "celebs" get so much mail they just barely have time to read it, let alone respond.

The only person I received a personal reply from was Buddy Hackett's son, Sandy, when Buddy died.

We go through agencies or networks when we do stories on people, but hey, it's worth a try!

Sorry, it just seems pointless to contact the shows creators if there isn't something you want to particularly talk to them about. Considering the volume of mail they probably get it seems sort of unfair on them.

they almost certainly have people to deal with their fan-mail or they throw it away. I do think it is nice if you have *really* enjoyed something to let the artist/creator, whoever, know. Notice that my first post said "concice and respectful" - this means not sending longhand scripts or first drafts of novels, or weird stalking-type stuff.

Actually, I think that someone at PEEL did send DXC an e-mail, and he got a reply.

Did it say, "Leave me alone you drooling fanboys"?

Don't bother writing.  I wrote once, and all I got back was a FAQ sheet.

Does anyone know why my threads get closed down.  Is it just me?

Because it's pointless to have multiple threads for one topic.

It's not just you.

Your question was very off topic... despite the misleading thread title.

Spam are unecessary posts.

Your post was offtopic and unecessary; therefore,it was spam.

He means that this thread was started by someone else with a different question and that we shouldnt add our own questions in this thread. Instead trying looking for another thread that'd have the answer or starting an entirely new thread. Simple mistakes Lrrr_2004. Dont worry.

I did look for the thread and it didn't exsist, and I put it in the right place (it's got a tv)

The thread says questions, I had a question, he wasn't specific about what the question was suppose to be about.
