I know about the head in the jar at the head museum in Space Pilot 3000, but was he in any other episode?

Weren't he and David sitting next to the being of inconcivable horror in "I Dated A Robot", during the eBAY scene? I could be wrong though, I'm half blind.

DXC was, but I don't think Groening was there.  On the commentary for Bycyclops Built for Two, they tell the tale of a Matt Groening who shoots down his own appearance as a internet nerd.  I would guess that he similarly wouldn't appear for the second showing, and they would use another one of the writers that they already have the design for.

Yeah, Groening denied the proposal of him being an internet nerd on the show.

Yeah, the internet nerds based on David Cohen, Eric Kaplan and Ken Keeler appear in both episodes.

He'll be signing Bender dolls as the famous creator of Futurama.

It's not on the 4th.  Because The ten commandments are on ABC,  so there not showing any new shows on Fox.

If you pull the string on them, they should say "Bite my shiny metal ass!" like on Fear of a bot planet.

Huh, I heard it was this Sunday. But 4th, 18th whenever -- I'll TiVo the Simpsons on the 4th as I probably haven't seen it anyway.

Thanks for the heads-up.

That's something to figure out.  And you might want to fix the misspelled Futurama in your sig.

How many times has he appeared on the Simpsons? Never, with a speaking role, as far as I can remember.  A few background cameos, a few couch gags, and a joke appearance on the 138th.  On Futurama, he appeared in the pilot as a head, with a name. He appears on The Simpsons a bit more often (adjusting for # of episodes) with none being as blatant as the head in SP3K, save the two (IIRC) couch gags, and the one very innacurate portaryal on the out of universe 138th ep. I think it's about even.

actually David was in the video game battle scene.  The rest of the producers were in the "filthy chat room" with Amy and Leela, while Fry and bender were in the "filthy, filthy chat room.
