If they ignored a 160000+ petition with genuine and original signatures why would a 3500-vote anonymous poll change anything? 3500 people is not enough to base a multi-million dollar business decision on.
Welcome Tto PEEL, Lucky Clover. Enjoy it here.

Yeah you're right Zeep, Fox is all about the $ and if C.N. ratings and DVD sales are high, then maybe, possibly it might get picked up by Fox for new episodes. Just like Family Guy

And it makes you wonder, why does FOX hate Futurama with a smoldering passion?? Because maybe people will realize what the better show is, so ratings from reality shows and (ugh. ), American Idol, will drop, or (gasp!)People will like it more than The Simpsons or....some other crappy show. Oh, I answered my own question! But I find it hard to beleive that they turned down that petiton.

Yeah, but they got something much BETTER than the Simpsons. I would much rather see Fry and Leela than Homer and Marge.

good luck Lucky Clover. Fox has an automated response system. I heavily doubt that they will even see your email. Nice try though.

i'm considering making a petition on PetitionOnline but it's a lot of work if it won't work. I think it's a good idea because: We might get futurama back, duh. Also, the show actually seems more popular now that the reruns have been on [as] for a while. i think if it were advertised well, itmight do even better than the original. even if it doesn't do better, now FOX has DVD saled and rerun ratings as well as the signatures to go by. reasons why i think it's a waste of time: i probably wouldn't be able to get more than 160,000 signatures, or whatever the original got. and even if it did get as many, would fox listen? maybe not. if CN offered to buy it shortly after, maybe. who knows. if i do make the petition, maybe i'll send it to cartoon network also. if they realized how popular it was, more than just ratings-wise, maybe they's offer to buy it from fox, or pressure fox to make more episodes. I'm sure Turned Broacasting Company has more influence over fox than a buch of nerds at their computers! (and face it, that's what we are!) i started working on tha actual text for the petition, and here's what i came up with: As many people know, the last episode of Matt Groening’s second cartoon show, Futurama, was aired in August of 2003. FOX has discontinued the series, much to the discontent of anyone who enjoys quality television programming. Since it’s cancellation, Futurama has gathered a sort of cult following. Reruns have been airing on Cartoon Network’s Adult Swim programming block. It has consistently ranked #1 in its time period on basic cable in delivery and ratings of its target audiences, particularly adults 18-34 and 18-24 and men 18-24. The recent release of Season 3 on DVD was ranked #3 on Amazon.com’s top seller list for the first few days of sales, and is still #27 after almost three weeks. Why did FOX cancel such a great show? No one knows. But the truth is this: it should be brought back! That’s why I am starting this petition for the Revival of Futurama, one of the greatest shows ever to grace a TV screen! I'd sign that, however, there seems to be at least six other Futurama petitions on that website. (Your text is much better than theirs, though)
