More of Hermes drug references or Hermes just going the whole nine yards and bonging it up in between his stamping sessions.

More of Fry, Leela and Bender going down there local and getting ratted while doing some karaoke.

Edit - Yes! Top of the page losers   :p

THANK YOU! *clap clap clap*  ;) I think that they should have shown the actual deliveries, though I think I know why they didn't. They probably assumed that it would get repetitive after awhile and decided not to do it. Some delivery scenes were boring, even with obstacles, like in "My Three Suns" and "Brannigan Begin Again" (There, another Zapp ep. for those strange fans!)  :nono:

It was mentioned by someone about pairing up different characters in the episodes for missions etc.  I think Zoidberg and Zapp, Zoidberg and Fry(thou they did pair up a little bit hear and there), Actually Zoidberg and anyone really, he can make anything seem funny.  Another eps with normal and parralel (blue) Zoidberg.

I may be going out on a limb here but perhaps Fry and Bender, nah that'd be too 'out there'

If I could change one thing, I'd get rid of most of the celebrity appearances.  (Not the ones voiced by Billy, Moe, etc., but the ones like Beck, Lucy Liu, and the Beastie Boys.)  The celebrity appearances were probably the least funny things about the show.

I would completely terminate the complete feminization of Kif, that actually started in Brannigan, Begin Again, and culminated in Kif Gets Knocked Up a Knotch.

Agreed.

Also I'd like to see more of the neutrals.

Yes! The neutrals! Although I can't help feeling that they probably work best as a one time joke. Like, the more you see of something, the less impact it has. I agree there should have been more of them in that episode, but it should be confined to that one episode.

so what if he's gay? that doesn't make him not funny!

besides, i dont think many gay people would spend their time trying to get in bed with someone like leela. (HINT: She's a woman!)

If you want to flame each other about it, go ahead. no one's stopping you. But don't do it here. go to some other board, or some other planet. or some other universe. just do it way the hell away from PEEL.

More Zoidberg would always be a good thing, really.  I'm one of the only people in the world (I think) that liked That's Lobstertainment.  Though I agree that A Leela of Her Own was pretty terrible.

So more Zoidberg, especially stand up stuff.  Just the voice makes the character.  Though the poor stuff is pure gold too.

Zapp is really entertaining, but I think I'd get tired of a full episde of Zapp.  Now the Professor and his sexist jokes would make for a great episode.  Now THAT'S humorous!

Well, I think Hermes has more authority (power, at least), but your point is clear. What sexist jokes has the professor made, besides the oven scene in Roswell (kinda) and the driving one in TMLH?

There was also one in Insane in the Mainframe. Leela says, I'll prove to Fry he's a human the way ONLY a woman can.

Teenage Mutant Leela's Hurdles.  In general, the longer episode titles are abbreviated by their intials.

More Roberto. That guy was hilarious. Also perhaps a few more scary door episodes, i loved that show.

And the Zapper was one of the funniest characters on the show, i can't believe anyone would consider getting rid of him!

I would've loved to see more Roberto. I'm sure the crew would have too, because in the commentary for "Insane in the Mainframe", it was stated that they wanted to make sure not to kill him in that episode, just in case they wanted to use him again.

I would've put the fishing scene from "Less Than Hero" in and cut some of the Zoo-keepers time.

I would also have worked some more Neutral comedy into a few episodes.

Isn't that exactly the same thing you posted in my thread about deleted scenes?  :o

Oh, and I second Sil's cry of "More Hedonism Bot!" But I disagree with the pleas for more neutral comedy. Great as those scenes were, any more similar jokes would soon become tiresome.

I know this was posted about a page ago but I just wanted to say that I felt it was in keeping with her character. She didn't want to take the risk, and hey, maybe she did think she could do better, but can you honestly say that you haven't turned someone down because you believed you could do better?

Besides, everyone loves a story about unrequited love.

Anyway as for the neutrals - I have no strong feeling one way or the other.

Well, it's not like either premise is incredible deep or complex. The Neutrals will be bland and boring, Hedonism Bot will go for pleasure everytime, so they're both pretty predictable. I simply liked the Neutrals better and would like to see more of them. And if Hedonism could appear twice, surely the Neutrals could too.

I think the Neutrals would be harder to write for though, because they have to remain completely neutral at all times, with not a single slip into the skies of positivity or the waters of negativity. That doesn't leave a huge amount of avenues to go down. Then again, they could always have neutral sex or listen to neutral music like...uh...Mike Oldfield.

I think there are more avenues to go down with Hedonism Bot, although he himself is actually more of a character than the Neutrals, or is treated more like one. When he goes on about those Greeks - "you know the ones I mean" - for example, there're signs that there's a bit more to him than someone simply out for enjoyment. Does Hedonism Bot have a sexuality? And what if he were to malfunction one time? Would he resort to slitting his wrists with a blowtorch and watching The Pitts? There's all kinds of avenues that could be explored.

I just thought of something else that I would have changed.  There were so many great serious moments near the end of episodes that were ruined by some attempt at comedy right before the credits rolled, IE: at the end of the Sting.

While I can appreciate humor, I think that certain episodes would have been better if they had kept with the more serious elements that had been put in place through the rest of it.

Ah well, comedy's good too.

are you kidding? i thought the shower joke at the end of the sting was hilarious! i like the serious, romanitc elements just as much as the next person, but that doesn't mean it can't have some comedy!
[harold zoid]just because it's a drama doesn't mean you can't have sokme comedy in the background! throw a pie or two![/harold zoid]
