I also went for "Space Pilot 3000", they were all good but that was special since it was my introduction to Futurama, also since it was first shown at 9:30pm I expect it was shown uncut.

Strange how everyone usually goes for "I, roommate" but now as it comes down to votes .. not one among the first 7 votes yet.
Well, I voted Space Pilot 3k, too. It was the introduction and i sure have seen it like 10 times as it was really great.

Space Pilot 3000 was very good. If it was longer than it is, it could be a Movie :-)

But i also loved I, Roomate and Hell is other robots

I voted for the pilot... it's one pilot episode that's actually as funny as the following episodes.

It's been awile since I've seen most of these.  In fact, I've only seen FoaBP once and IR 1 1/2 times, so I don't remember much of the details.  AFoD is the only season 1 I have on tape.

Well I voted on a system of character preference and amount of time on show related to others with special relevance to phonic presence. Basically, the only one where Kif speaks.

I, Roommate was the best episode to date. It was simple, stuck to the main characters, set up a big location in the series (Fry and Bender's "Robot Arms" apartment) and had a very funny surprise ending.

All of us got cute posters of Loves' Labors Lost In Space last week at work. And I finally got my Rough Draft Succubi T-shirt along with it. Also, every few weeks or so, we get the latest issue of the Futurama comics. Not that I read them, but I like to quickly look at the artwork, especially if Pam Cook worked on the issue.
The LLLISpace poster has 3 little B&W pics on it from the episode. The one of Kif shying away from Zapps' ass on the ladder always cracks me up.  big grin

It was a tough call between the pilot and "I, roomate". I have seen the pilot alot of times, but I really - for some reason - really loved the ending of "I, Roomate". I didn't even expect it - even though I probably should have. It was cool. So i voted for "I, Roomate".

I like space pilot 3000 because it's the first ep, but it didn't really have many LOL's in my opinion... I voted Love's labor.

I loved the little details, like when the robot bring the trumptes to their mouths to start the human hunt, and they make the old Apple Mac startup sound. Classic.  smile

But I am still going to go for SP3000.

We never got a good explanation for that though...was it really Nibbler? Or just some other Nibblonian? Or do you not know? Or is it a spoiler?

It's a very tough decision because they're all so good. I was torn between Space pilot 3000, I roommate & Fear of a bot planet. I loved the metric wedding ring joke on I roommate but in the end I voted for Fear of the bot planet (no1 turns down a free oiling)

Allthough I'm a huge Zapp-Fan, I voted for "A fishful of Dollars". Perhaps it's because I like the idea of Fry finally becomming rich. And I like the way he acts. It's rather cute when he finally decides not to sell the anchovies to Mom even if he is broke, but shares them with his friends - who don't appreciate the gift. Now that's funny - in a tragic way. Nevertheless: Zapp's the greatest =;-))))

Roomate is great, too.

"Loves Labour Lost in Space" iz da bezt. For one reason it gave us Kif (and the Zapper), and the exchanges between these two is just beyond words. My god, it was funny.   big grin   big grin

I also like "The Series has Landed". Particularly the scene in the old Lunar-lander. The exchange between Fry and Leela was just so,...so,...so...nice/cute, and both showed the differences between their characters and what they could learn from eachother.
