Does anyone in here have an idea to a Futurama episode?

Yes, but I am unwilling to post it to a public forum. I know that sounds a bit arsey, but the following had happened before and I would not like to see it happen again.
1) Fan has idea for episode, and posts it to a public forum.
2) An episode is made that may bear some similarity to the idea on the forum
3) Fan sues program makers, regarless if the similarity was coincidence or not.

I know that sounds a little far fetched but it has happened before. A few years ago I was an active member of a Babylon5 forum, and part of the charter of that group was not to post story ideas. The creator of that show had to pull some episodes after someone came up with similar ideas independently. If he had gone ahead he would leave himself open for a lawsuit.

Ok, rant over. A bit extreme, I grant you, but something worth thinking about.

Now to be attacked by the spelling lobby. :-)

I knew a girl who wrote a really good English essay. Her teacher held it back, photocopied it and passed it off as a sample answer composed by him. He didn't make any money, he juts used it as notes for his students, but I still thought it was a shitty thing to do.
OK, back on topic. I can understand that, smurflord, as "failed TV writer" is a very common occupation among people I know, and I know how these people think  :)
All of which is pointless as I have no Futurama ep ideas to post anyway. . .

Not a very good teacher then, most teachers take delight when they think they've coaxed a student into writing something that surpasses something they may have done, and subsequently lavish praise upon them.

Trust me, its happened to me. Hated it, really embarrasing  :)
