No, the last line is "30 Go To 10". It's a BASIC joke. But for god's sake don't get these people started on it or this thread will be flooded with arguments about computer inaccuracies.

probably the one in war is the h-word, where it says " join the earth army, what are chicken buk buk buk"  :laff:  or the poster on the inside of the recruitment station, where it says employee of the month and it has a flag coverd coffin.   :laff:   :laff:  both are freezeframe jokes.

10 SIN
20 GOTO HELL
- Hell is Other Robots

Also, I believe I saw something like CHR$ on a sign in some episode (C64 BASIC).

My favorite one is in A Lesser of Two Evils, there's a sign in the background that says LEARN SPANGLISH, I am an expert at Spanglish

I liked in Jurassic Bark when they were talking about Y2K and eating bologna, a little joke about how Y2K is nothing more than bologna.

"Earth Army Recruiting Center: What are you, chicken? Buk buk buk"

I think it was in 30% Iron Chef that Bender walked past an alien sign that said "Used Human Probes".

In The Cyber House Rules, there was a article cut from a newspaper in Fry and Bender's apartment. The headline read "Primitive Human found in Tube" (or something to that effect, I can't get at my DVDs at the moment) with a picture of Fry. It was really tiny, I had to pause the DVD and get closer to see it.  I thought it was funny.

Ranadok, I remember that. Though it wasn't that much of a joke, I thought it was hilarious.

TheLampIncident, though I agree that tom123 has been spamming alot, do you realize the hypocrisy that by telling him he's a spammer, that makes you a spammer?

No I do not, because I chose it that way.
And you can just call me Lamp.

Probably in "Bicyclops built for two" where the sign says sardine-on-mackeral action in the internet.

no one's mentioned the sign in Florida from TMLH. there were three or so lines to it, but i only remember the "recounts" joke.

i'm gonna go with "got milk? then you are human and must be killed" as a favourite.

Its more of a noticing thing than a joke but i thought this was the best place to mention it, last night when I was watching BITW i noticed that one of the broken robots in the crowd is the robot whose head exploded when fry asked for anchovies on his pizza

"Loew's Aleph-Null-Plex" - RB
"Girls! Girls! Girls! (Girls needed)" - ABMfT
"Earthican Flag Company. A Venusian Corporation" - AToF
"P"/"NP" - PYHomS

And while it's not really a background joke given that it takes up the entire screen, I liked the Daily Supernova headline "Paperboys win award on slow news day" from TRoAE, basically for the the nostalgia value - it's a skit on the Daily Sun from Paperboy and their tendency to fill up the front page with news about some kid on a bike.

I know this is KIND of off topic but I didn't get the joke in the luck of the fryish. It went like this:
Fry: Everything else held up ok.
Bender: Except SPORTS by Harry Lewis.
This might not even be a joke. if so sorry for waisting your time

1. Try asking in this thread next time.

2. It's Huey Lewis, not Harry.

3. The joke is just that Huey Lewis was pretty popular at one time, but not anymore.

I believe that MEAT is an example of an acronym rather than an anagram. I agree, though, that was a clever gag.

"Round Hips Sink Ships"  A poster in the dining hall from War is the H-Word with a picture of a guy about to fall down a hole because he is distracted by a shapely woman walking by.
