Luck of the fryrish is the ONLY tv episode to make me cry, of any program.

Several Voyager and a certain DS9 episode make me almost cry in frustration and anger.

But if it's the good type of tearjerking, LOTF it is.

I know this makes me sound like Simpsons fan (which I am), but certain early episodes of The Simpsons ("Lisa's Substitute", and "And Maggie Makes Three" ) touched me, but never made me cry. Jurassic Bark is still the only episode of any series to make me cry.

Luck of the Fryish, followed by Jurassic Bark. I Cried the first time I saw Jurassic Bark, but Luck of the Fryish does it every time. I think because it's about a human, it's more sad. I mean, in Jurassic Bark, Fry really cared about the dog. However, in Luck of the Fryish, he keeps talking about how he hates his brother, and he even goes to rob what he thinks is his brother's grave. I recorded that episode and watched it before I left for school, and I was still teary eyed as I went to class. It was so sad.

Well, I saw "Time Keeps on Slippin'" again. It was probably one of the saddest episodes I've ever seen, but "Jurassic Bark" is still the only one to make me cry.

Jurassic Bark. I don't know why, but the dog dying waiting for Fry makes me burst into tears even more than the ending of LOTF. I never really thought any other endings were really sad, except for TDHAIP, but only after I found out it was the last ep.

1) The Sting - What others aid, it's so great that Fry is willing to sit there waiting for Leela to die for two weeks.

2) Luck of the Fryrish - Makes me cry everytime and now I can't listen to that Simple Minds song without the context to Futurama coming back.

3) Jurassic Bark - Made me somewhat teary as I am a huge dog fan, not as much as the previous two though.

TKOS is a tearjerker episode but the whole side "story" with Bender and the Harlem Globetrotters makes me want to throw chairs at the TV which somewhat takes away from the sentimental part.

L&R is sweet sure, but not a huge tearjerker. Not as much as The Sting anyway.

Leela's Homeworld loses out because it's a terrible episode. The shock of finding out Leela's parents and by association Leela are mutants comes out immediately, and Leela spends the rest of the time playing catch-up.

I voted for Jurassic Bark, but Luck of the Fryish and Leela's Homeworld threw me a bit. Juarassic Bark the most with Luck of the Fryish very close.

Well, I was touched by Jurassic Bark and when the music came on at the end I was soon weeping.

However, with Luck of the Fryish I was tearing up before any music came on, and so LOTF gets my vote.

The Devil Hands Are Idle Playthings. That episode nearly made me tearing. And that was not because it was the last episode, but because of its wonderful ending scene.

Terrible sorry to hear that boingo2000, I'm sure he is still watching over you and guiding you along your path.  :)

I actually voted for Leela's Homeworld but now that I think about it I prefered Jurasic Bark. I enjoyed Kif gets knocked up a notch but not as an emotional episode.

It was a toss-up between Luck of the Fryrish and Jurassic Bark (The only other one I teared in was Leela's Homeworld but that wasn't the same feeling). I chose LOTF because my brother and I have a pretty cruddy relationship  :(. If I've owned a dog before, I'd probably pick Jurassic Bark... Both were amazing though.

I think that the end of Jurrasic Bark was a little... confused. The song wasn't really teear-jerky enough...

Anyway, The Sting gets my vote, with the exception of the 'You really need a shower' line. I think it was clever and tear-jerky at the same time. The best type. =)

I agree. I don't know why the end of Jurrasic Bark makes me cry. I think its the combination of Seymour spending the rest of his life waiting for Fry and the song. Whatever it is at the end of that episode I can't help but shed a tear.

The Sting and Luck of the Fryrish were really the only ones that seriously made me  cry. Fryrish made me cry at the end when you find out what really happened to Phillip Fry II.

When i saw the Sting for the first time it was in the early fall at the 2:00 am showing of Futurama. I'd never seen the episode b4 and it absolutely ripped apart my heart. It instantly became my favorite episode and still is.

Leela's Homeworld, because she finally found her parents after probally 28 years of being alone.  Plus the end where even though she couldn't be with her parents, they always looked after her.

Luck of the Fryrish is a very close second, when the whole story is unraveled at the end, it is a very touching moment.

Jurassic Park is third (you don't have to have owned a dog or be a dog lover to enjoy this episode.  Just imagine if your favorite pet was waiting for you, whether it be cat, hampster, ferret, or parrot.)

I think Obsoletley Fabulous should be on this list, it's very sad when Bender thinks everyone likes the 1-X better than him, and has a thing that changes his view of the 1-X (forgot what it's called)

Confetion time:  I have not seen Jurassic Bark!    still i am suprised that noone has realy mentioned parasites lost.  I allways tear up when i see the crude leela at the end.  Other good ones are the sting, time keeps on slipping, luck of the fryrish, and the series has landed.  For some reason frys moon speech always gets me weeping.  I dunno, maybe i'm on the rag.

Luck of the Fryish! Boy does that episode get to me.

Jurassic Bark is up there, but Luck of the Fryish gets me everytime.
I don't even watch it very often, makes me so upset. I have to be in the mood to be tear jerked.

Luck of the Fryrish, The Sting, and Leela's Home World are all winners of my plantnum tear drop award for their magical ability to reduce me to a wimpering mass infront of my TV.  Some great music at the end of both LotF and L'sHW too. While all are great episoides I had to go with LotF simply because it's freash in my mind as I just wached it today and I haven't seen any of the season four stuff in quite some time. Untill further notice (or perhaps further seasons *crosses fingers) LotF remains my favorite episoide EVER!

I had to go with LoTF because of the very end when Fry finds out the truth about how much his brother loved him. I think that it was just more moving for me than Jurassic bark, although that episode comes a close second

Jurassic bark!!!   No Question
Loved the episode, but I wished for days after that I hadn't seen it because it was so depressing!

No other one has made me cry, the sting would be one of my favorites and I like TKOS because the Harlem Globe Trotters theme will forever more be a song of lost dreams for me. The song at the end of Leela's home world nearly does it, but not quite.
Just to stick up for poor little Kiffy (thinking I'm right with the double f here since I put a y on the end) I thought it was sad when he was crying into his ceremonial tea - but that's just because I think he rocks.

Oh yeah - I agree - Go Cats!! (I vote that my cat smells nice and is pretty)

The Devil's Hands is sad because it's the last time we'll see any of the characters. I chose that, but Jurassic Bark is a close 2nd.
