actually, in Bender's Big Score the second Fry comes back to seymour, right?
so he isn't actually alone.

anyway, i voted Luck of the Fryish, 'cause i just think it's so emotional at the end (and i'm a guy :P)

LOTF but now I think the movie. I was so sad whe n Fry was crying in his new apartment and when he let Leelu fgo and when he found out he was Lars.

I'm the minority on this poll.     :hmpf:

As bittersweet as JB ended, it didn't come close to tearing me up as Leela's Homeworld did. The way Leela's behavior went from wanting to shoot who she thought killed & robbed her parents, to realizing they were her parents, and the resulting reunion was very powerful IMO. As well as the flashback to when her parents gave her up, that really made my heart bleed even more for Leela, having to grow up alone, thinking nobody cared for her. The ending montage was very good, and I was happy seeing that her parents didn't totally abandon her, and secretly kept an eye (pun fully intended) on her as she grew up.    :D

Another sad ending that's not on the list, but feel I should mention it, since it did choke me up quite a bit was at the end of "Bicyclops Built For Two". It's the part where Leela, looking very sad while staring out into space, says "Yeah, I mean, how many planets can there be?"

Gotta jump on the 50% bandwagon and go with Jurassic Bark. It's more of a grab and viciously yank!

I also agree with Torgo about the end of Bicyclops Built for Two, although I didn't find LH's ending sad at all. It was a very nice/sweet ending with the montage, but not tear-jerky (if that's a word) for me.

Jurassic Bark for actual tears, Leela's Homeworld for warmth and emotion (that final "Baby Love Child" montage gets me every time. Hell, even Bender said "Awwwwwww!"   ;)).

The problem now is..

are now Jurassic Bark and Luck of the Fryrish supposed to bear the same weight?

because acording to BBS neither did Fry's family miss him sinze he "came back" and neither did poor Seymour wait his whole life for the same reason..

I wonder if all this time travel junk is supposed to fix itself in the next movies...(a "never ocurred" situation)

Well, Fry did eventually vanish...just not until about 13 years after he did the "first" time. And Fry went looking for Leeloo for roughly 2 years, so Seymour was probably lonely waiting for him. I say it still fits.

There have been many disagreements over to what extent Jurassic Bark and LoTF were retconned in BBS. This thread covers some of that and the time travel debate:  http://www.peelified.com/cgi-bin/Futurama/3-001206-1/ .

The Luck of the Fryrish really got me at the end, as did Jurassic Bark. Those were the only ones that really got to me.

@Boingo2000- I'm sorry to hear about your brother.

I really didn't like the song at the end in Bark, so Luck of the Fryrish gets my vote. Overall, it was a far better episode anyway.

The song at the end of Bark and the accompanying images didn't make you sob?
