Favourite Season?

Out of all the four seasons or the five mcseasons, which is your all-time favourite season. My all-time favourite season is season two:

I order, mine go 3 > 4 > 2 > 1. So, naturally, I voted for 2. No, 4. I mean 3.

Season 3 so far, only because I haven't seen all of Season 4....but I think that will become my favourite when I have....

Hmmm, "Amazon Women In The Mood", "Parasites Lost", "Luck Of The Fryrish", "Roswell That Ends Well", "Time Keeps On Slipping", "A Leela Of Her Own" and "Godfellas". Yeah, I think it's safe to assume season 3 was a non-stop thrill-ride.

Except for "A Pharaoh To Remember"...

I gotta go with Season 2. There was not ONE bad episode in that season, they were all great (except for "Cryonic Woman," goes without saying though) Season 1 was pretty good, it's second. Season 3 was good, but it had a few average ones, as did Season 4.

I ain't seen season four, but hoping it will be just as good as season 3.

Season 1 was a good start to the show with a couple of classics such as FOABP, ABPOG and HIOR, but being a bit short and having a few too many parody episodes at the end it doesn't quite match up with the rest.

Season 2 was very consistent with all but one episode (you know the one) maintaining a consistent quality and included such gems as AHITP, X-Mas Story, HHRHGB, Bender Gets Made and The Honking.

Season 3 was very much a mixed bag. It had some of the best episodes of the series (Parasites Lost, Time Keeps On Slipping, Roswell That Ends Well, Godfellas) but also a couple of bland episodes (That's Lobstertainment, A Leela Of Her Own) and a few bits of wasted potential (The Cyber House Rules, I Dated A Robot).

 Season 4 started off with a couple of disjointed episodes and also came very close to lowest common denominator with Bend Her and Spanish Fry, but those aside I would say Season 4 also contains some of the best body of work Futurama has ever made (including Love And Rocket, Jurrasic Bark, The Sting, Obsoletely Fabulous and The Farnsworth Parabox). Some of the better character development also occurred this season.

 It's a tough choice, since I think each Season has its merits, but I think Season 2 is the best overall for it's quality control. Even The Cryonic Woman, the lowest point in the season, had some ace dialogue on Fry's part.

For me it's Season 3. Every Season is amazing, but I love the varied balance of different eps Season 3 has to offer the most

Season 3 contained so many of the great episodes i just had to vote for it. I mean Luck of the Fryrish, Roswell That Ends Well and Godfellas. It was the peak of Futurama.

I voted for season 3, however I haven't seen many of season 4 to accurately judge. Season 3 has so many great eps compared to season 1 and 2...

Season 1 was very good, but it didn't have enough Great Episodes, and I don't think the show really hit its stride until season 2. Season 4 had too many shithouse (by Futurama standards) episodes for me to even consider. It's a toss up for me between (production) seasons 2 & 3. Both have some brilliant episodes, and not too many stinkers. Season 2 is probably slightly more consistant, but season 3 has Roswell That Ends Well and A Tale of Two Santas! I can't decide now, maybe I will when I've finished watching my recently purchased S3 DVDs.

Seasons one and two are "slow" IMO.

Season 3 is pretty good, though it has some stinkers. Season 4 has a couple good ones.

For me it was a tie between 3 & 1. I really enjoyed "The bird-bot of Ice-katraz" but I also really liked "Mars university"

In the end I just went with my gut and voted 3.

Jurassic Bark
Teenage Mutant Leela's Hurdles
The Why of Fry
The Sting
The Farnsworth Parabox
The Devil's Hands are Idle Playthings (My Favorite)

Sounds good to me.

He said "out of the 4 seasons or 5 McSeasons", yet the poll only lists production seaons. Thereby, how can one pick his or her favorite McSeason?

Anarchist, do you consider yourself a 'shipper'? Because otherwise I can't understand how you could consider seson four to be the best season. I'm just curious though, i'm not trying to tell you your opinion is bad and you should feel bad or anything.

For me, it's a tie between Season 2 and 3. Season 3 contained some better episodes, but then again - Season 2 really didn't have ANY awful episodes besides Lesser Of Two Evils, but Season 3 had some really shit ones. Then again, Season 3 marked the start of Futurama's real intelligent episodes, and main character development... but on the other hand, Season 2 was funnier - and it also contains War Is The H-Word, which got me into the show in the first place.

Errrrrmmmm... ah hell, I'm voting for Season 3. It might have some bad episodes, but still - the season itself has more episodes, so it can be excused, not to mention the fact that it contains some great episodes such as Parasites Lost, Luck Of The Fryrish, Birdbot Of Ice-catraz, Insane In The Mainframe, Time Keeps On Slippin', Roswell That Ends Well, Futurestock and 30% Iron Chef - which has one of the funniest sub-plots ever.

So there you go. I made a decision, but it was a tough one.

It's got to be season 4 for me, at the moment anyway.  Maybe when the novelty of my S4 DVDs wears off, I can be more objective.

My order 4>1>3>2 so I voted for 4 because all the other season I dislike 1-2 eps in but in season 4 I like them all.

I like all of them but my favorie is the current one on the US season 4, especially because of "Jurassic Bark" that's been one of my favorites episodes of all time!!
