You didn't do anything wrong, it just appears friendlyness and courtesy is in very short supply at PEEL lately. Just ignore it.

Hmm, in my opinion Zanfor (from AOI II) always looked an awful lot like Carl Sagan.

I say the guys are just roughing you up to get you initiated. But what do I know? Nothing. IMHO, the thing that's wrong with this thingy is that it does not have a lot of potential. Replies would be like "No I don't" or "Kind of- I saw a person with a red jacket like Fry's" and the likes of those two. But please stay...

[EDIT]But I my cousin has lost an eye. So she's like Leela... no no no. Disregard that[/EDIT]

Again sorry for being offensive, I actually didn't mean it.... (see edited post)

There are pics at CGEF of two people I remember dressed up well as Fry and Leela...

On a sidenote, I was watching the show "In Search of..." on scifi, and they were talking about robots taking over the world and whatnot.  And they showed some hightech robots with semiintelligence at a university or something and the names of two of them were Nibbler and Zoidberg.... Futurama anyone?

My friend looks a lot like Fry. He's got orangie-red hair, and he's a little chubby, too. Whenever I imagine real life Fry I just imagine a grown up him with a different nose and hair style.  tongue

For being a repulsive little troll.

At least Winna apologized after Teral and Kryten pointed out how rude he was being.  You not only didn't apologize, but you're still being rude.

But I wasn't rude. My joke wasn't even half as offensive and aggresive as Winna's was.

Making this thread without any look-alike pictures is like starting the Avy-thread without posting any avys.

Then when I complain about how spammy it is and that it should be closed unless someone post a pic you come along playing Jesus.

You my good sir are truly repulsive. And a worthy advisary. I shall see you in hell.

Seriously, I knew someone from work who had the same physique as Leela (except for the one eye of course).

One day she even strapped a pricing gun on her arm that looked like the wrist-a-majiger.

Serious question, was she hot? I mean, Leela sure is, but I can't help but think that a real human female with that body wouldn't seem quite right...

Agreed.  However, Winna apologized, and more importantly, he didn't do it again.

Says you.  It's a thread for talking about look-alikes, not just for posting pictures of them.  If anyone has pictures to post, that would be a nice bonus, but it's not necessary.

You're not a mod.  Stop acting like one.  It's not up to you which threads get closed and which threads stay open.

"I knew this girl once, She had the body of the crushinator. Yeah. Cool ey ? Sorry for you that I can't show you how she looks."

Why don't you just make a thread that says "Talk about how you look." Istead of "The picture thread" ?

I'm sorry if you and others still like to get breastfed by your mothers but this is as polite as I get.

I was just watching the Peter Jackson movie "The Frighteners" and the lady who plays the mother of the psycho girl who doesn't get out much looks very similar to Mom....
Her real name is Julia McCarthy, I couldn't find a picture of her, even with Google (Google is your friend my arse  tongue)
It's mainly her hairstyle that is similar to Mom's but she also reminds me of the part in Futurestock where they show the ad for Planet Express and you see Mom's head on the screen....
eh just watch it yourself you'll see what I mean  roll eyes

What exactly is your logic for using a comment meant to be a joke as an example? Think about it: who the bloody hell do you know who looks like the Crushinator? A neighbour with a pink Range Rover that just happens to have tank tracks, perhaps? And a red bow?

I mean, yeah, this isn't the most intelligent thread but why d'you have to single out the guy who tries to liven the friggin' thing up?  roll eyes
