To my knowledge, it didn't win anything. Of course, I only saw like 30 min. of it. It just so happened that those 30 min. were the TV portion of the show.

And any show that allows Adam Sandler to win anything for 8 Crazy Nights gets no respect at all...

Ach I am tired of Adam Sandler, although I would be surprised if Futurama did end up winning an award.

I wrote about it here.  I think they just dropped the animation category altogether, so nothing won.

Yes! Go "Not Applicable"!

In your face other animated shows who drew level with Futurama thanks to a technicality!

Futurama wasn't mentioned AND Eight Crazy Nights won an award?! What is this, Bizarro World?

It seems kind of odd that they completely eliminated the category. I watched the whole thing from start to finish to see that one award given away, and it wasn't even there! I didn't like the show all together, and it's not just because the category was forgotten.

Maybe they had a seperate presentation, for the "technical" awards like best animated series.

I agree 1000%. I watched about ten minutes of the awards show, saw Adam Sandler win, and turned it off in disgust. Terrible. Plus I saw Rachel Dratch walking around at some point. I have never hated "comedy" so much in my life.

Other complaints: Rodney Dangerfield gets a lifetime achievement award? What the hell, man. That's actually very respectful! What is he going to base his stand-up comedy acts on, now? "Yeah, I tell ya, I get so much respect! Last night I walked into a restaurant, the waiter said there weren't any tables, but then he recognized who I was and said 'Terribly sorry, sir--right this way, I'll get you the best table in the house'. I tell ya, so much respect!" What a sellout.

(but to be fair, I'll admit that I liked Dave Foley acting like an alcoholic. Now that's comedy I can relate to)

I used to like Adam Sandler.  After Big Daddy, that was the end of it for me.  Too bad Best Animated Program category got ditched.  Besides, The Simpsons would've probably won, anyway.

I actually think South Park would've won, considering Comedy Central was holding the awards & most voters were CC viewers.

Wait... do I now have to say "Aside from The Hot Chick," my least favourite film of all time is the award-winning "Adam Sandler's Eight Crazy Nights?"  'Cause that may cause my brain to explode!

That was about all I saw, and it was brilliant.  :D Pity the rest of the show couldn't live up to it.
