I really should watch more Futurama.  I stopped watching it on CN for a while since they kept showing the same episodes over and over again.  I started to think that I had seen all of Futurama.  Then, I was wrong!  Last week (or was it two weeks ago?), I saw an episode I never saw before...  I don't know it's name, but it was the one in which Fry and Leela were stung by a bee and Leela wound up in a coma or something.  I didn't see that one before then.

Now, I'm watching this one in which Leela and Fry are superheros.  Okay, maybe I could find out what it's called, but I am too busy watching TV.

What's the point of all this?  Well, I just want to say that I feel sorry for those of you who have seen all the episodes.  Nothing surprises you anymore.

Isn't that surprising?

What the hell is this? Why would we NOT want to see all of Futurama? What is your goddamned problem, hippie???

The Sting and Less Than Hero are the names you're looking for. Someone else would've told you that though.... or if you weren't so lazy....

Don't feel sorry for anyone.  I love watching my DVDs over and over again!  Futurama is my favorite show and I love watching it.  Almost every time I catch something new, or notice something that isn't quite so obvious.  Plus they crack me up again and again and again...

So don't feel sorry for us because we've seen every episode, feel sorry for yourself cause you haven't.

I don't feel sorry for those who enjoy Futurama.  I should have been more specific.  I only feel sorry for those guys who complain about this-and-that about one episode or another.  I haven't seen one yet I didn't like and wouldn't mind watching again.

Oh yeah, now that I have a job that pays in money, I can get Futurama DVD's  Yipee~~~!

I think he's saying he feels sorry for us cos we don't have any unwatched episodes to look forward too while he does.  I am actually a little envious.

I'm good.  There's still five seconds of "A Taste of Freedom" I'm yet to see due to a faulty remote control.  :D

I've got the perfect solution: Altzheimer's disease! That way, you could watch all the Futurama episodes over and over, and every time will be the first time you saw it!

I don't agree that a degenerative disease like Alzheimer's is a positive thing, but I've always thought it would be great if you could watch TV shows or films or play games as if it was the first time every time. You would never get bored of any of them, it would save a lot of money...

I have explosive amnesia, so every time I watch an episode of Futurama, it's fresh as today's milk!

Then i'm set on fire  :(

And I missed large portions of both "Obsoletely Fabulous" and "The Route of All Evil". The latter so much that I basically saw the last five minutes.

Edit: Aw, so now I actually have to read when people joined before welcoming them?

I've yet to see most of Season 4....and I know what Cap McGlurk is saying....The only reason I haven't seen them is because the stupid tv station keeps giving us the run around, and the S4 dvd isn't out here yet....

It is a good feeling to know I haven't seen them all yet....makes you wish you could go back and watch the whole series from the beginning....*kicks self in head until all memory is lost*

Ahh what's this place....PEEL you say....

What is this? Some sort of weird retroactive glitch in the PEELtrix where you can welcome someone who joined six months before you?

If so, Welcome to PEEL, Margarita!  :D

I have also yet to see a lot of season 4 and, given this...

It is really quite annoying actually, even though I have no idea what is actually going on in that framegrab... Oh well, come on Christmas!

I know what you're saying McGlurk.  Because of fox's crappy scheduling here in the states, I never saw "Route of All Evil" until I got the season 3 DVDs.  I didn't see "Crimes of the Hot" or "Jurassic Bark" until Cartoon Network started showing them last month.  It is exciting to see episodes you haven't seen before and a little sad knowing there aren't any new ones, but it isn't all bad.  I have all four seasons on DVD now and can watch them whenever I please.  The only surprise left would be figuring out what crawled up Asylum-Fry's ass.

Speaking of the framegrab (which IS from ATOF), someone once mentioned that Leela would fail the pencil test... and then I wonder. do you fail if the pencil falls, or if it stays put. If it's the former, then failing the test is good, right?

That was a good joke, even though it was played on the viewers.

Too bad actually, since judging from the audio commentaries some nice jokes were cut along with the hot-tub.

Well, at least we still have Sarge's sketch.  :D

Well, I am finally glad to see everyone got my point.  Asylum-Fry took something personal-like that was anything but.

Well, it's Friday -- no Futurama tonight on CN.  I guess I'll watch a movie on TV.  I would watch a Futurama DVD, but I don't own one yet.  I will.  Maybe I'll get one within the next couple of paychecks.

Season 3 is out already?  I need to stock up and save.

Now that I know there are other episodes I haven't seen it makes me wonder how many CN showed before I stopped watching and how many I missed when they started showing new (new to me) ones again.

Season 3 is out in Europe, Australia and a few other countries. It has still yet to be released in America.

hello first post! /shy

do you mean to tell me that the UK has Futurama DVDs before the US? that's surprising.

I also wish I had a few unwatched episodes to look forward to. I kind of binged on series 4, I watched it all in pretty much one sitting!!

Fortunately I haven't seen ANY season 3 episodes besides like 4 of them, I'm going to save it until I get the DVD episodes, so I have something to look forward too!!

But when I do watch them, I'll probably get that feeling Cap'n McGlurk was saying about that I'll no longer be surprised since I'll already know what'll happen but I'll still watch them over and over again and not get sick of it, it'll still make me laugh too!

There's a sketch in a Red Dwarf episode where Holly (the ship's computer) asks Lister to wipe his memory of all (IIRC) Nancy Drew novels so he could read them again. I sometimes wish I could do the same for futurama eps before I watch them  ;)

Seriously though, you don't need amnesia to enjoy an episode that you've already seen.  There's so much packed into an episode of Futurama that you're bound to miss something the first time around.
