Currently Cartoon Network is running the 16 episodes of Season 5... again... and again... and again.

Does anyone know when/if are they going to run Season 4? "Leela's Homeworld" is my favorite episode, yet I still had not taped it and it is not included in the third DVD release.

Here is the listing of third DVD set:

I see. DVD's are in the order of production (4 seasons). While Cartoon Network follows the order of FOX release (5 seasons). So from CN's point of view "Leela's Homeworld" is a "season 4" episode.

I'm just guessing here, but CN have aired all episodes in production order, the only reason they haven't been able to air McSeason 5 episode is because FOX call dibs. Even when they did show McSeason 5 they did so in production order. Judging on that I'd say it's only FOX who consider LH a McSeason 4 episode.

Now that they have showed all the episodes at least once, CN might go back to airing them the way Matt and David intended.

Dang Fox but I have watched a few Futurama eps on CN and I remember them being not in too particular an order.

CN had run Leela's Homeworld, Love And Rocket, and Where No Fan Has Gone Before in the original run of the episodes because they aired in McSeason 4. These episodes were rerun on Cartoon Network... like 3 times. That's why they skipped the 3 eps.

CN should show all the seasons of Futurama now.  Maybe they're showing season 5 in case some people might've missed it the first time.

I'm glad they're showing these later episodes... it's gonna be a while before we get them on DVD here in the USA.

In fact, right now they are playing the entire 16 McSeason 5 episodes again (With a little break-off for the two Xmas episodes that they got it planned for Christmas Eve ("Xmas Story" ) and Christmas Day ("A Tale Of Two Santas" ). After New Year's Eve (Which they get to "Space Pilot 3000" ), they'll get back to where they picking it up where they left off before Halloween (With A Clone Of My Own on New Year's Night).
