Well, I have uploaded the game in the crappiest server ever. Have a try, but it will be a miracle if you could complete the download:

 http://leela.host.sk/myfiles/futurauk.zip

NEW FEATURES:

- Now Fry can wink
- Now Fry can go outside
- Some bugs deleted (Now Fry doesn't vanish, etc)
- Font changed
- Screen Title updated
- Randi is hidden somewhere

Well, soon the game will be uploaded in a better server, I hope... Enjoy if you can!   :D

Allright!! TOPTD!!

I completed the download, and opened the file, but Winzip said that it was not a valid archive.

Help?!

Ok, try

It should work. Please do not use any download manager (hold shift if you use GetRight etc..).

You can use a download manager  :) If this link doesn't work, use the other one.

AHHHHHH!!!!!! I use http://futurama.metropoli2000.com/gamedownload.htm  but I STILL can't seem to make it work. When I download it from there, it downloads in like 1 second (I got dail-up) and when I open up the zip, it says the valid archive thing.

So what link SHOULD I use????

THIS LINK WORKS!!!

 http://futurama.metropoli2000.com/gamedownload.htm

DISABLE ANY DOWNLOAD MANAGER!! Click on "Click here to download the game." Then wait, a small window will appear, with a link in it! It's that simple.

The game just keeps getting better and better...

Can you actually use the transportation tubes, or just look at the map?

I'm pretty sure you couldn't make money with copyright laws and the like. I dunno though, since you're not an American, as far as I can tell.

That's true, to make money I'd have to obtain a license and commercialize the game, but anybody would buy a game that looks like a "5-years-ago" adventure

The game looks great, Slavon, but why do you use that installer program? It only complicates things and it's not really necessary. The zip file only gets bigger. I think most of us can handle to copy the files to a folder without using the installer.

For Windows NT/2000/XP users:
Boot to DOS to install and play the game. If your system can't boot to DOS, create a boot floppy (can also be downloaded from http://www.bootdisk.com/). You MUST have at least one FAT or FAT32 partition to play with boot floppy. The game won't fit on the floppy, and DOS can not read NTFS, so the game must be stored in the FAT/FAT32 partition. If you only have NTFS, you can create a boot CD with DOS, mouse drivers and the game. (You can not install the game with only the CD, you must install it on another computer and then copy the installed files)

Thanks for the information Tor.

I know the install program gets the zip bigger, but there's always the typical person who doesn't know how to copy files, etc... maybe in the next version.

Maybe you should create files for a boot CD, Slavon, so Win NT/2000/XP users just have to download the files, burn them on a cd and reboot.
Of course there will be problems if you make a save game function. One option is to store the savegames on a floppy.

I finally got around to download the game and try it. Great work, Slavon!! It looked very cool, and it was really funny to try all the possibilities. I'm looking forward to the next revision with excitement. This game really has potential. Keep up the good work!!!

I made a boot CD for your game, Slavon. It has drivers for most CD-ROM drives and mice. With this boot CD, Windows NT/2000/XP users can enjoy the game! Please tell me if you find bugs, it has not been very carefully tested... and the readme file is confusing and full of spelling mistakes... but it's a start.

Download the boot-CD here: http://home.no.net/kfnf/download/boot-cd.zip

The game without the installer (You need it to make the CD): http://home.no.net/kfnf/download/futur-uk.zip

Someone, please report bugs in my boot CD. Bugtesters will be listed in "credits"...

Something I forgot: The boot CD will work in all operating systems for PC, not only Win NT/2000/XP. You can use it even if you have Linux, BeOS, Win 3.1/95/98/Me or whatever. The only thing you need is a PC that supports boot CD, and a program to write the CD.

Why did you bother with WIN 3.1?

Nobody uses it, right? I'm stuck in the stone age with Win 95, and I though that was bad...
