they say
"There are still rumors circulating about the posibility of Cartoon Network producing a Season 6 for Futurama, but if I had to give a direct answer, it would be no for the time being."

They won't have a season 6. I don't think cartoon network or any  other network who is interested has the money  :(

Personaly i would love to see a season 6 (or Production season 5) but i don't think it will ever happen, there has been all this news about a new season of futurama on CN but i think it's just CN airing Mc Season 5,

Anyway i don't think CN have enough money to produce a big show like futurama, sad really well don't forget they may be a possibilty for a movie mabe even three, lets just hope, :)

No no no! I just KNOW that if CN orders a sixth season, that it'll be some new shitty animation company, and it'll be Dexter's Lab all over again!

Yea, sometimes I think it is best that a series dies (relatively) young.  I mean what Fox did to the show was undoubtedly wrong, but would you rather that the show ended now with many classic episodes and only one or two "hmmmish" ones or it just ran for years and years and slowly dropped it's quality with lack of ideas.  This is just a thought and I would love to see another season of the show, but at least this show hasn't gone the same way as so many others.

It's all over.  It'll run reruns on CN until nobody cares anymore except a few die-hard fans, a cult following.
