season 6

I know fox is not doing a season 6 (those bastards) but why? why do they keep the simpsons around for another few years who shouldn't still be on the air. (don't get me wrong, i love the simpsons, but enough is enough) futurama has unlimited possiblities. shouldn't cartoon network do a season 6 since fox is so stupid? also, what would ya'll like to see in a 6th season?

I'd say IF it got picked up, the soonest we would see new episodes would be 2005-2006.

I'd like to see a spoof of "Alien" on the Nimbus.
I duno why it just seems like a funney idea especially if Dr. Zoidberg, Kif or Nibbler turned out to be the alien. (I just think those movies are so funney).
