It's official - the Florida Marlins shut out the Yankees, no Game 7 of the World Series. This means FOX airs 4ACV17 "Spanish Fry" one last time on 10/26. Enjoy it, as it's the last time "Futurama" will ever appear on FOX (as I'm sure you know, but I felt it deserved a thread anyway).

Fox doesn't even deserve the rights to repeat a show like Futurama...

I never thought I'd say this, but thank god the Marlins won. Lousy Fox bastards.

Well, for most of us it doesn't matter.  The last time Futurama was ever shown on the east coast was the last week of August.

Edit:  On Fox, I mean.  But look at it on the bright side:  At least we're one step closer to the "season five" episodes getting shown on CN!

Well, maybe it's just because its the last time I'll see it on FOX, but I liked "Spanish Fry" more than when I saw it the first time.

Though FOX doesn't deserve it, I really wanted to see this episode I missed.

I liked enjoing it in all its clarity. When I 'acqired' it, it looks all crappy. So I let FOX off the hook this time. But now, .: Sets detonator up in Marlins stadium :...Oh crap, wrong place.

I just saw it for the first time. That was a hillarious episode. I think it's ludacris that next week is "LOL Sunday", yet Futurama isn't apart of the line up. Pathetic.

BTW, doesn't CN cut a few scenes? A lot of syndicated shows have like 5 second scenes cut out.

There's no such thing as "LOL Sunday" (what kind of name is that?!) without Futurama. Pfft.

I agree, this episode wa sway funnier the second time 'round.  :)

My Global affiliate still runs at least one ep per week, sometimes two.  Tonight was Spanish Fry.

I had never seen this episode until tonight, and it did not dissapoint. One of my favorite Futurama's at the moment, though that may change from renewed viewings of the older eps.
I cannot afford cable and season 3 has yet to grace the USA. This final fox ep was kind of like my way of saying 'good-bye' to Futurama, as i shall not be seeing any season 3/4/5 episodes until they are released here months from now. i'm getting teary eyes already...

They do show it uncut, but, in a couple of episodes,
they did bleeped out the "Jesus" from the "Sweet Zombie Jesus" part.

He means cut for time.

But no, I don't think it's happened since ad time hasn't really increased since Futurama started.  It's mostly shows from the mid 90's and earlier that end up having to have a few seconds removed here and there.

Now that I just found odd. Are they hardcore Christians at CN towers or something?

Probably.  After all, the headquarters of Ted Turner's company is in Atlanta, Georgia, which is right in the middle of the Bible Belt.

I'm sure we all do   :)

Even though, I would have rather had FOX air Futurama for the first time and starting the craze than any other channel, so I'll give them their props on that.

That's it. That rapper has to be shot now. Our kids aren't safe from his influence.

Hey! I live in North Carolina, and it's not the Bible Belt. Oh wait - it is.

I think CN is afraid of offending ANYONE because then they'll lose their highest-rated show.
