Censoring? Bah. Here in Norway they do the opposite of censoring, in the subtitles. They translate the word 'damn' to the Norwegian version of 'f*ck', 'bastard' to 'motherf*cker' and 'crap' to 'sh*t'. Which might explain why I swear too much.

ok last night I was pissed off again after I watched  A Bicyclops Built For Two, they cut some scenes from the internet scene!

this is what they cut, Fry seeing the sex signs, Zoidberg seeing the sex sign, Bender Sexy Nurse scene, the Naked Amy sceene, "Firthy Firthy" was covered on the chatroom door,Leela and Amy walked to the "Firthy" chatroom.

they cut off my fave whole scene, bastards

I've been watching Futurama for the duration of both series on C4 and I absolutely love it. But I'm interested to know what has been cut out of C4's season 2 showing so far. Can someone give me a quick run-down of what's been cut and where?

I hate the way they cut stuff and then you never get to see what they cut and also they screwed up the second series by showing the first few episodes of it last year  for some reason. Anyone have any idea why?

There is literaly too much to list. My personal favorite was when Fry was rubbing Flexo's back:

Flexo: "Lower, oh yeah, a little lower, lower, no, lower."
Fry: "I can't get any lower than this."
Flexo: "I'll say, you're rubbing my ass!"

The more I read this the more I wonder how much I'm missing, I love the show even after C4 has shredded it but I'm sure I'd love it more uncensored. I wish that they would be made available on video so I could see it as it is meant to be seen.

Most of Season 3, will in all probability be shredded by Channel 4, although I can't wait to see if the Nude Conga from TKOS makes it or not.

Next week on C4 they should be showing A Clone of my Own, but they're not for some reason. They're skipping over it in next weeks double bill by replacing it with that older ep where those aliens come to blow up earth unless they get to see a TV show. The second of the double bill is the one directly after A Clone of My Own.

Anyone got any ideas why they would cut out this entire ep? Nothing controversial as far as I know.

Hmm, how odd.
My listings mag (Radio Times) has the 2 eps pencilled in as When Aliens Attack followed by Deep South, obviously missing out A Clone of my Own.

However Tom seems correct, they are showing When Aliens Attack, followed by A Clone of My Own, according to some online guides.

So they are not cutting an ep out, but for some reason putting in an old repeat?!? Might be to make up the numbers for the double bill. I dunno.

does anyone know if channel 4 has just bought season 2? 

Because when I complained to them, they replied that they had bought Futurama to be shown at that time, hence them cuttin bits out.  If they are only contracted to show season 2 at that time, you think it would be a good idea to ask if they could put futurama on later, say like when south park is on, so that its not uncut - if they buy the next season?

any ideas on this peopele?

This is purely because it regards Futurama as a kiddies show and nothing more. It was the same with Babylon 5 a few years ago. Shown at a ridiculous time and cut to shreds. That group tried for 5 years to get CH4 to change their minds, but to no avail. I doubt they will be changing their minds for Futurama.
Watch it on Sky1 (if you can) or get someone to tape it for you. They still cut things but not as much.
