No, blame Bumper Robinson. As stated on the commentary by DXC, The Route Of All Evil was held back because the man behind the voice of Dwight went off to China for 11 months to do a movie and they couldn't change any of his lines until he got back.

Yeah. For example he showed up in "A Leela of Her Own" and "Anthology of Interest II".
The reason that "The Route of All Evil" was shown after Dwight's original introduction is due to the fact that Bumper Robinson, the voice of Dwight, was off doing a movie in another country. David X.Cohen decided to wait for about a year to record the voice upon Robinson's return. Also, it was originally intended to be McSeason Five's premiere, but was postponed again at the last second.

Edit: Mouse on Venus beat me to it.

But personally, I think they should've let Phil LaMarr do it instead, as in 300 Big Boys.

Also, something that's barely interesting is that, in a deleted scene from Teenage Mutant Leela's Hurdles, Dwight has a Jamaican accent. Obviously it was a temp voice, but I thought it sounded pretty cool.

If they had had Phil LaMarr subbing, the episode wouldn't have lost anything. But knowing FOX, they probably wouldn't have shown the episode prior to Dwight's other appearences even if it had been completed in time.

I think pretty lame line is from Crimes of the Hot.

Pretty much all of the last episode sucked(it is the only one I've seen so far that I truly dislike). I also got annoyed by Zapp's rambling about neutral people in Brannigan Begin Again. That guy's a fuck sometimes.

WHAT?! Zapp's neutral talk was pure gold! That was the funniest part of the episode.

It might of been said already but in Anthology of interest 2 at the beginning the professor says something like "well, lets give baby wat he wants" in response to whatever bender says - i dunno that line always seemed really out of place to me, and wasn't in the least bit amusing.

Bender was complaining about how being a robot, and therefore incapable of feeling, made him feel sad. I really liked that line actually, both for the irony and Farnsworth's general old-man heckling.

I agree with Digital Dragon. I loved that opening part of AOI II with the Professor. But it's the poses on the Professor that make me laugh as much as the "give baby what he wants" line.

I like when the neutral people are talking about neutrality("Tell my wife I said hello" ), but when Zapp did it, it was annoying. I thought so anyway.

Easily the most lame character and included lamest line ever was made gunter the stupid monkey from mars university. he ruined an otherwise hilarious episode.

i actually found gunter to be a decent 1 time role character. it just gave ammunition to create some hilarious fry comments such as:
"i dont like you"
"hehehe" cheating..drawing bananas
"that'l show him" *farnsworth- i'l nueter the both of you

"Even if we smeared the engine in cheetah blood?"

---

"I just made out with the radiator woman from the radiator planet."

"Fry, that WAS a radiator".

"Oh, um...is there a burn ward within ten feet of here?"

Both make me want to die.

I completely forgot there was a thread like this, never mind one I posted in!

Dwight: I heard alcohol makes you stupid.
Leela: It does...until you turn 21. Then it becomes very good. Now scram!

Worst. Line. Ever. From. Any. Character. And. Not. Just. Leela. Gawd. Daim.

I second the "3, 2, Could the owner of a..." joke. And as much as I love The Farnsworth Parabox, some of the lines in that one clunked.

Haha, I thought people would agree with me unanimously on the lameness of that one...The whole Fry making out with a radiator is just ...beyond stupidness for any human being, and kind of funny if you think of it...but the whole "is there a burn ward within ten feet of here" thing...

I gotta go for the bit in the why of fry when the infosphere is counting down, but before it said zero it says something like "will the owner of a 49 white firebird, o never mind zero!"
I thought that was just a bit too lame and immature for futurama.

(I posted something like this in another thread but it seemed more at home here)

In Clone of my Own, the professor declares that he needs a sucessor. I was all like: "Sucessor sounds like professor! It would be really lame if one of them said..."

"A sucessor to the professor?"

"...aw."

I didn't like in LTH when Munda tells Leela to call more often. It wasn't that the line itself was particulary lame, i just thought it didn't fit Leela's character. Considering she spent her whole life alone searching for who and what she was i find it hard to believe that she doesn't contact her family often enough. I'm surprised they can get her to leave at all. With how much she obviously adores them one would assume she spends a majority of her free time with them.
