The first set of Futurama Pop-out People have just arrived at my local comic store. This set has the Big Seven, Nibbler, and the two cops. The back features a diorama of the NNYC skyline. Look for 'em near you.

Waddya expect? Any company with a solid franchise will exploit it for every last penny. That's one thing we've come to expect these days.

I mean come on, who wouldn't want a set of scratch and sniff Star Wars Episode 1 stickers. (and BTW I really did see these at my local grocery. Scratch and sniff Jar Jar Binks? I'll pass.)

bahahahaha! yeah, merchandising has been shittier and shittier. remember when trey and matt brought out cheesy poofs? But, I'd rather have complete and utter shit futurama merchandise than none at all ( like it is over here)

I wish they had futurama cereal, then they could have pop out people for free on the back of the box.

Hmm...Futurama cereal?  I'd buy that!  Maybe they could have pop rocks in it, like the Power Puff Girls cereal.  And it could turn your milk green!  They should make Archduke Chocula, Admiral Crunch, and Bachelor Chow too.  Although I might get some funny looks from my parents when I beg to go to the store.  "Since when do you like grocery shopping?"
Oh, but the pop-out people thing, I wanna buy a set, but I have to save all my money for spending in Maui.  Oh well, I'll pick some up at a comic book store there.  Uh...Hawaiians read comic books, right?

i have a question about them. is it just one sheet like this one:   http://slurmman.tripod.com/pictures/popoutpeople/1.jpg , or is that just the front sheet of many different or duplicate sheets?

back to the cereal, they could have little heads in jars - this cereal is sounding tastier and better by the minute, but that's probably what people said about the cheesy poofs and they're shit, so it might not be such a good idea. (don't get me wrong, I'll still pay for it, but they're cartoonists and not Kelloggs)

note from Edel - Come on, having a spell checker around doesn't give you the right to be lazy!  Make some effort next time

OK, just saw these things the other day, and they're $3.  As much as I like Futurama, I'm not going to pay $3 for that.  You foreigners can make the conversions yourself.

$3 turns into $6 over here in Australia. I could make these myself if I wasn't so lazy.

Then I'd make them and sell them for a $4 profit. Err..

Back to the cereal...(I am new to the site and I don't know how to do the quote thing) I think first and foremost the cereal should include some sort of marshmallow or something shaped like Bender's ass so we all can actually bite his shiny, metal ass.  Ohhh, and it can be fortified with iron too!

Click that "PEEL Museum" link at the bottom of the screen, and then the topic "Status Names" to get the scoop on ranks.
