Okay...even though this subject might have been broughten up before what is Leela's wrist thingy used for?
In Space Pilot 3000 she used it to get in contact with the "peace officers" but is it just a communicator or does it have a different use?  hmpf

I also think this has been brought up before. Well it's a multipurpose gadget, it does whatever the writers want it to  smile - It's got a communicator, surgical laser, chemical analyzer(?) and probably other things.

it also can be used as a homing device (HHRHGB) and it's got tetris (LOTF).. seems to be come kind of cell phone  :DD

I think she uses it to cover up her alien (at that time) bracelet. And it doubles as a tricorder/comm badge thingy too..

So far, we've seen it used as:

A walkie-talkie
A watch
A poison detector
A video game console
A tracking device
A laser

So whatever it is, I want one. Evidently they're pretty common in the future anyway - Leo Wong has one, as do several background characters.
