When the Planet Express crew reaches old age and retirement, perhaps that little orphan girl with three ears will become the new Leela when she grows up?

If there's a spinoff then Futurama will become Star Trek... Is that such a bad thing?

Question:  Is Sally Alien, Mutant, Human or something else?  I would say Mutant, but then shouldn't Leela had wondered about her own beginings?  And if she is Mutant, is she the second least mutated ever?  I would hope that Leela adopts her someday.

Those are good questions, and I'd guess she's probabaly mutant too. And yeah, probably the second least mutated mutant ever, that we know about anyway.

Until the fact that she had three ears was mentioned i just thought it was a bit of weird hair.

I'm assuming she's a deformed human, but I'm not really sure. I wouldn't really like to see a spinoff unless it involved one of the main characters (i.e. Zapp).

It depends. ST:TNG was better than ST:TOS (I think). All the other ones...not so good.

I don't think that a Futurama spinoff would work as well as the Star Trek ones have, at least not if they are the same type of spinoffs. I mean, most of the Star Treks are, for all the minor differences, practically the same show, with different people (I have the feeling I am going to get some rabid Trek fan on me for that), but I would be surprised if Futurama would work in the same way. Perhaps, as someone mentioned, a Zapp spinoff or something, but definitely not just the same situations with a new crew.  Besides who would play alongside the three-eared girl in Fry's place? Some other poor sap who got cryogenically frozen, just by strange coincence? It just wouldn't work.

I wasn't talking about a spin-off.  I was only speculating.  Besides, a spin-off of Futurama would be dumb.  Long live Futurama!

They didn't even finish the actual Futurama series! How dare you even speculate a spin-off??

Nah I'm just kidding you, you're all right.

FUTURAMA BABIES!

That spin-off would rock!  They would all be babies like in "Teenage Leela", wear diapers and talk in that adorable "I'm a widdle hungwe", "I want to fwy the wocket sip" or "I made poopie in my dipee" baby talk.

Except for Leela and Amy.  They would be the other's mommies.

And nudists.

And lesbian lovers.

And they keep the babies in the cryogenic unit so that they have more "together time".

In fact - forget the whole babies thing.

That's a cute idea, actually. If that happened in the actual programme, you'd be hearing a lot more from Nicole St. John, mind.
