i voted for devil's hands because i think that
1) it's the last episode
2) it has a perfect blend of comedy and the relationship between fry and leela
3) it leaves you speculating as to what happens with their relationship

Roswell wasn't that funny? Are you kidding?! Roswell has to be one of the funniest episodes ever, especially when compared against Godfellas (sure, Godfellas was a great episode, but it was far from hillarious). Oh well, everyone's entitled to their own opinion, even if they don't know how to use capital letters and full stops...

Roswell That Ends Well is a great laugh, and Godfellas is a deep, confusing, spiritual episode. They're different standards. All the episodes on this poll won for different aspects. Some were funny, some were emotional, some were shippy... it's all too confusing to explain.

I understand what you're saying. I know that Godfellas is good because of different reasons than Roswell That Ends Well, it's just that "User_names_suck" appears to be rating the episodes on comedic value. After all, he knocked Roswell for not being funny, yet he didn't give a reason as to why he voted for Godfellas. I'm probably just making false assumptions though, but still...

Trying as hard as possible to avoid seeing the current results, i voted for "Roswell That Ends Well" over "Luck of the Fryrish", this was very very hard to do though!

My favorite is Roswell That Ends Well.  Well, actually my favorite episode of all time is The Sting, but it's not on the list.  Anyway, I agree with Asylum-Fry and Xmpel regarding Devil's Hands.  I can't put my finger on it, but somehow, the episode didn't just seem somehow....right.  Something was off, and I'm also assuming it was because of off-characterization.

Well i'm strange don't listen to me.
Yes i think Roswell was funny. But I think Godfellas had some hilarious moments (as well as a deep spiritual plot.) Its  probably just my sense of humour, but
Some of the jokes on roswell i didn't think were so good
I hate The "how about these cookies sugar" line
(there you all go proof that my opinion isn't
worth listening to.)

Godfellas all the way.  "You can't give up hope just because it's hopeless.  You gotta hope even more, and cover up your ears and go blah blah blah blah blah blah."  So funny.

OMG, this is so tough...

I mean, I love Luck of the Fryrish - the way the story cuts between past and present/future is genius and it's the only cartoon that's ever made me cry.

Ah, bugger it, I'm going for Roswell. I think the main thing is that there's 3 stories going on and they're ALL hysterically funny, which very rarely happens - usually by the time you get to the C-story you really feel like they're padding.

Oh, and Zoidberg - "I'm not hearing a no..."  :D

Although it is worth noting that my fave Futurama ep EVER is War is the H-Word...

I'll never understand why Roswell That Ends Well is so overrated. I mean, sure, it's a great episode, but how is it *THAT* great compared to the rest of Futurama? And don't say "It won an Emmy". Awards are practically meaningless to me.

Uh, assuming you meant to say "Like what?", Luck of the Fryrish easily rivals Roswell, and then there are episodes like The Sting and The Devil's Hands Are Idle Playthings which are, in the opinion of shippers everywhere, unbeatable. (But that's just the collective shipper opinion.)

I'm not LoTF's biggest fan, but I can see non- shippers enjoying The Sting as well. It's funny as hell.  I'd pick it over Roswell any day.

The start of The Sting was funny, the rest was weird...
IMO : Best ep : Time keeps on slippin' - I like a bit of shippiness, as long as it doesn't make the episode less funny, this is the only episode that truly did that...
Roswell is definatly a worthy winner though.

That's what made it so good! Still, I prefer Roswell, and looking at the votes so far, it's a sure-winner. Quite surprising, I really thought Luck Of The Fryrish would have won this. Oh well, whatever it may look like now - the results may always turn around, however slim the chances may be.

I'm a bit surprised "Roswell That Ends Well" dominates this pool as much as it do. I was sure "Luck Of The Fryrish" or "Godfellas" would give it a better run for it's money. "Parasites Lost" would be a worthy winner too.

I haven't voted yet, but at the moment I'm leaning to RTEW too. 3 funny, semi-independent, storylines, a plot that ties well into the overall "Fry being in the future"/Nibblonian story-arch, a ton of quoteable lines, good use of all involved charaters, an animation bonanza plus a great use of the shows sci-fi premise. The only episode that rivals (and beats) it as a "complete" Futurama episode is "Xmas Story".

LOTF however have it beaten flat out in the emotion department, no question. On top of that it's funny and give a great lookminto Fry's background.

"Godfellas" is funny, weird and have a nice message re. religion. Plus those space backgrounds. Fricking beautiful.

When they say "We're gonna have to do an old-fashioned alien autopsy." Someone walks up with a saw, making it blatantly obvious they're going to have to kill him, but Zoidberg just sits there smiling and says "Hurray!"
