Bloody hell, I just ran a web search on "The Kinks" (I've never heard of them either, but then my knowledge of pop music is slightly inferior to my knowledge of sub-atomic physics so that's not suprising) and found a list of all their songs... and there are 475 of them!?! For no reason whatsoever I'm going to guess that it has to do with Acute Schizophrenia Paranoia Blues.
