Like I said, it has nothing to do with Leela.   ;)

That's a hint, folks.

Sorry if this one is hard, but as far as I know "PL" and "TKoS" are the only two episodes with this connection.

Damn! There goes my only possible conclusion, of them both being in the same season...

China is featured? Not the country China, but china plates, cups etc.

In Parasites Lost, Leela pours a cup of tea from a blue china mug into a china cup with a china saucer.

And in Time Keeps On Slipping, when Fry and Leela get divorced, Leela divides up the china between them.

And I'm pretty sure they're the only times china is featured, although I haven't seen Season 4.

yeah, but in cryonic woman, michelle is drinking tea from a [presumably] china cup, the one that breaks and goes back together.

Wow, great guess, Dolcelannah.  Completely wrong, but still a great guess.   :D

Okay, Mouse On Venus and M0le both guessed that it had to do with Fry trying to win Leela's love.  I said that they were wrong, because the connection had nothing to do with Leela.

Notice that I never denied that the connection had somthing to do with Fry.  Try concentrating on that.  I'll be back to give another clue later.

Is it this

-Parasites lost: At the end of the episode after fry becomes dumb again he starts to lern how to play the holophona.

And in

-Time keeps on slipping: Fry lerns how to fly the PE ship.

And also fry does these to things to try and win Leela's heart.  :hmpf:

I was going to say that but David A said it doesn't have anything to do with Leela, if that is right I will hang my head in shame, but he did do those things to try and win Leela and someone has already said he does things to try and win Leela.
Shit that was a long sentence.

Okay, here is another clue:

Many of my previous trivia questions have shared a common theme.  This one is no exception.

There.  That should either make the answer obvious, or horribly confuse everyone.

I can only find one question from you, and that can't possibly have a similar answer, becasue you've pretty much said that it has something to do with Fry.

It's not so much something that someone does; it's more something that's said in both episodes.

A reference to Fry's relationship with Amy.

PL: I've got this baggie of massage oil and I'm gonna give you my super back rub, just like I did with Amy when I was going out with her and she always seemed to-- uh-oh.

TKOS: Hermes: Maybe you're just a fantastic lover, Fry!
Amy: Mmm, no.
Fry: I don't know what I'm doing!

hey I'm back from my break, and answer to the question.  An Amazonian woman appears in all three.  Brannigan Begin Again, she's a diplomat at DOOP HQ and she shows up at Fry funeral in the Sting

I, Dated A Robot
Put Your Head On Your Shoulders
The Devil's Hands are Idle Playthings

What do these things have in common?

Clue it has nothing to do with Fry.

I could guess something to do with losing a body part or a body part being replaced but that would involve Fry wouldn't it?

Okay I can see that my trivia is a little hard, so I'll add another clue.

It involves the character's appearance or a lack there of.

Free from the ever so slightly restraining influence of Kif, Zapp dates/lusts after a woman/man/robot/sewer grate.

"Zapp Smith" uses Bender's dating service in
PYHOMS, but the resulting encounter is cut short before his date has chance to show him his surprise.

In I Dated a Robot, while browsing the top shelf of the magazine rack, a Lucy Liubot gets physical with him in a way he wasn't wishing for, causing him to become intimate with a sewer grate.

In The Devil's Hands... Zapp shows another woman at the opera his lack of knowledge of French letterswords.

OK, what connects:
  • Mother's Day
  • Anthology of Interest I
  • The Farnsworth Paradox
  • The Sting
  • Spanish Fry

I wish you added a clue, but here is my connection.  It involves love.

MD: Professor Makes love with Mom
AOI1: Leela makes love with Fry
TFP: Leela1 and Fry1 are married and are always kissing.
TS: Fry and Leela date in Leela's dream also Leela's roomate was making love with someone just before he died.
SF: Lrr makes love with Ndnd

Nope. I would have had to include, for example, Put Your Head on My Shoulder, if that was the answer.

I could also have included Three Hundred Big Boys, but that wouldn't have been fair.

Oops, your right, it's Parabox.

Here's the first clue again:

I could also have included Three Hundred Big Boys, but that wouldn't have been fair.

And my second.

It's a visual joke in Spanish Fry,
But not the one your thinking.
Who knows if you will get this?
I hope this ain't misleading.

Just for fun there is another connection between Parabox and The Sting, Bigfoot.  He is in the sting and is on the cover of a magazine in which Leela reads in Parabox.  Is Bigfoot the visual joke?  The obvious joke is Fry's lower horn, but you said it is not the joke we're thinking.  Also in AOI and Parabox, both involve problems with the space time continum.  Mother's Day and Spanish Fry both have different ending sequences.  All seem to have some sort of sex joke, Fry comments on why he's sticky and naked in the Sting.

No. It's something common to all five in some way. Keep looking.

Here's the next clue:

Bender never mentioned this.
Some other hardware did.
Made in Mom's ol' factory.
Just watch for clues I've hid.

Hint:  This clue is to another one of the five episodes.
