i don't think that's the right answer.  you can connect any 2+ episodes by saying they bother have vehicles, or animals.  I think the answer is more spesific.  Like some in perticular they said or something...

 TH: The Windows ghost and also the book that the gypsy-robot reads is "For Windows '98".
 WTBR: Bender tells a ghost story - "It was...the Windows logo!"
 FS: The signs in the stock market show that Macintosh Operating Systems (MOS) are doing better than Windows (WIN).
 SF: The tube that abducts Fry is a parody of the 3D pipes Windows screensaver.
