Zapp gets a what for a short period of time? Your guess doesn't even make sense, and your explanations are left unjustified. Furthermore, you completely ignored Evan's clues. By all means, have a guess - but only if you think you're on to something, otherwise you're really just spamming.

We have 15 minutes left in the day for you to guess this. 15, 14, 13....eh, screw it.

The correct answer is "we learn Zapp has problems telling women from men."

LLLiS - "You're sure she's a woman this time, right?"
PYHoMS - "Wait, baby, you didn't show me your surprise!"
War is the H-Word - "That cadet fills me with hope...and other emotions, which are weird and unsettling."
AWitM - mis-karokeing the Kink's "Lola," (as LEELA) a song about a man who mistakenly brings home a crossdresser from a bar.

Hopefully, this next question will be easier.

What connects:
"I, Roommate"
"I Second That Emotion"
"The Honking"
"A Pharoh to Remember"
and "The Sting."

I bet it has to do with Bender... hm... Bender doing something, yeah. *thinks really hard*

Aw darn it, I can't get it. It's almost there, but then I can't say it. I'll keep trying to think of it.

Bender gets sad?

IR: After having to move out of Fry's flat
ISTE: After insulting Leela while equipped with the empathy chip
TH: Realising that he's going to kill Fry
APTR: I haven't seen this one
TS: At Fry's funeral

That's probably wrong since there have been other episodes that this could apply to, but anyway...

Wow, that was a good question about Zapp.  I guess we were all getting to it eventually.  Now to concentrate my engergy on the new question.
I agree it has to do with Bender.  Are those all the episodes where he says the phrase "Kill all humans!"?
Hmmm...they all involved Bender's relationship with someone.
IR: Bender and Fry
ISTE: Bender and Leela, possibly Nibbler too
TH: Bender and Fry
APTR: Hmm..i found a hole in my theory
TS:  Bender and Fry, of course

Oh well, I'll keep working at it.

There's a funeral in each episode?

IR: One of the Professor's friends (I don't think you actually see it though)
ISTE: Nibbler
TH: Uncle Vladimir
APTR: Bender
TS: Fry

d eath and funerals are the same.

WRONG! Funerals are for the 'dead' whether or not they turn out to be. Note that Nibbler, Fry, and Bender were not dead at their funerals. So if Wernstrom's guess is right, then it's his turn.

Question... what is d eath?

Prof Wenstrum gets it. There's a funeral in each episode (which is different than someone dying in an episode). For example, Free Waterfall Jnr dies in "The Problem With Popplers," but that isn't listed. And Fry gets hurt in almost every episode he's in. None of those are listed.

Oh, and just so it's all clear, it was Calculon's funeral on "All My Circuts" in "I, Roommate."

You're up, Wernstrom.

Fry refers to his addiction to video games?
Fry uses his video game skills?
Something to do with video games, right?

Action Jacktion is right, each episode features a reference to Donkey Kong:

SP3K: The barrel throwing gorilla in Monkey Fracas Jr. (Incidentally the Jr. bit is propable a reference to the sequel Donkey Kong Jr.)
ABMF2: The same barrel throwing gorilla in Death Factory III: The Legend of Death Factory II
AOI2: Donkey Kong appears and is even mentioned by name
TDHAIP: The characters in that kid's holophoner image jump barrels complete with DK sound effects and 100 point bonuses

Let's see...they're all married?  They have pudgy husbands? Except I remember that Hattie picked up Kif.  Ouch.

*watches theory fall to pieces*

Hmmm..out of all the fictional characters...why would you say that?  Unless they were also connected to some non fictional character...

No Lrrrr was the male in the omicronians relationship, Ndnd was the female so it cant be about their husbands.

Is it that they refer to people as items of food. I can only think of it happening with LaBarbera Calling Hermes a Hot-Dog

Good god we need a hint!!!!!!!

Sorry, I've been away and didn't realize everyone wanted a hint.  Obviously I said fictional characters because the list would be a lot longer if I included all the real-life celebrities who fit the connection who've been depicted on Futurama.  That's the best hint I can think of right now.

It's been less than five hours since the last one!  Okay, I'll say that the connection involves the characters' pasts.
