7pm is really too early ... many families eat at that time, especially in winter ...
in germany, we had it at 21:45, i believe ..
(thats 9:45pm jon). that might have been a little late, but it was definitely better than 7. and it was on monday instead of sunday. and directly after simpsons.
As much as I hate the german version for the dub, i have to admit that the german tv station cared about futurama.

Yeah, like FutureFreak ( :)), I like MITM, but (if you mean ET), I think Futurama is good just where it is: Futurama, KOTH (pfft  :p), OFF, MITM, X-F...yeah, good.

Futurama should definitely be on later, if it was on later they could show A tale of 2 santas as well as all the lesbian scenes between Leela and Amy that were cut.

7:00 sucks.  it should at least trade with KOTH.  i have a couple friends who watch the show every once in a while, but lots of times whenever i ask if they saw it last night, they said they were eating dinner!  i hear that all the time!

i was so mad when i heard they weren't gonna include the amyl-leela lesbian scene that i wrote a letter to FOX.

I think the 7pm timeslot sucks a [edited]. Back when I was just a casual fan, I missed several late season 2 episodes because I kept forgetting to watch TV that early. Then, with the early timeslot and constant pre-emptions and crap, I pretty much forgot about the show entirely...it wasn't until I caught Bendless Love that I remembered how great the show was(yeah, a lot of people hate this episode, but I hadn't seen Futurama in months, and it was a lot better than all the other crap I had been watching).

I'm sure there are lots of casual fans that don't watch the show anymore. Right after The Simpsons is the best timeslot, but they should at least move it to 7:30. I'm sure it would get way better ratings than King of the Hill.

For that to happen, the FOX programmers would have to recover from their severe case of anal cephalia.

I know it was cheesy and dumb... But I still like the idea of "Da BOOM" Wednesdays!  (Or was it Tuesdays?)  Anyway, having king of the hill (KOTH) Futurama, family guy, and the PJ’s all in one 2 hour block was very fun for me.  Even though I hate family guy and the PJ‘s, I would watch it anyway because it was all in a block.  I would love to have that type of 2 hour block back.  Even though the PJ’s and family guy are gone (actually family guy is coming back i think) they could put some other shows in their places, like that 70's show or Titus.

Yeah same here Kifley_Jr.  I like the way they have it now but I wish they would get rid of Malcome In The Middle.  I don't really like it but then again I don't really watch it anyways.

Futurama should be moved to the 8:30 timeslot after The Simpsons. Aside from raising inconsistent ratings, Fox could move Malcolm to a weekday, something the network has experimented with before. I live in Illinois, so we get Futurama at 6:00 local time which is far too early for many people to be watching television.

Oh yea, and I wouldn't have to stop my VCR for thirty minutes after taping Futurama to wait for the Simpsons.

I get Futurama on at 6:00 too which is really early, but I also like the lineup that Fox has on Sunday.  What I was is that Fox put Futurama on different times like have it 2 times a week at good times.  I think Sunday is actually really full, instead they could move Simpsons and Futurama to like Thursday, cause nothing else is on Thursday's.  But I really wish they'd put it on more than once a week, not too much though, just like a new ep and a rerun.

Good idea, Winna. I used to watch nothing but NBC on Thursday nights, but in the past couple years, their shows just aren't what they used to be. I vaguely remember Fox having Futurama, Family Guy, a random show, and a Simpsons rerun on either Tuesday or Thursday. With Family Guy returning for the summer, why not move Futurama? Even better, why not repeat it on a weekday?

No, see, this would mean that the FOX programmers were actually capable of doing something intelligent.

It should take the place of KOTH. That show eats it anyway. Switch them around. Or Take King off the air!

Ah yes, Fox programmers. The people that brought us such classics as "Ned and Stacey" and "The PJ's." What's scary is that I actually saw the latter show on the WB a while ago.

I've seen "The PJ's " Logo appear in Futurama... TWICE.

In the episode I second that Emotion, and another time... I forget what it was. It will come to me...

Futurama used to have a killer time slot, back to back with the simpsons, but of course, fox puts all it's new shows that need help after simpsons.

Just got around to answering this - in "Luck of the Fryrish."  Also, the PJ guy appeared in the background of "Missionary: Impossible," in the same scene as a certain silver robot . . .
