What have you learned about the future from Futurama?
Just a few examples...
Robots run off of alcohol.
All cups of coffee (big & small) cost $3.
There are thousands of intelligent species but all of the have only 2 eyes.
I know its a kinda lame topic but i was tired of looking at the same thing on the board every day.

Wrong! There's a five-eyed species in "A Bicyclops Built for Two", and Mr. H. G. Blob's race has three.

And let's not forget the "no eye" energy beings, from Melllvar to the one that Amy tries to fix Leela up with.

I may be wrong but isnt the 5-Eyed species similar to Leela's 1-Eyed species... There's only one of them. Otherwise she probably wouldnt have been on an empty planet with a jerk like Al.
But you are correct about the Blob race.

Not neccessarily.  Al just said that he made out with five wierdos.  It doesn't mean she's the only one of her kind.  Possibly she was cut off from her species and Al used the same con job he used on Leela.

And as long as we're talking about people with unusual numbers of eyes, let's not forget about the Nibblonians, with their third eye-on-a-stalk.

You can survive decapitation as long as a surgeon is nearby to graft your head onto someone else's shoulder.

Since Labor Day is this weekend in the US, and the first plastic Christmas tree sightings can't be far behind:

He knows when you are sleeping.
He knows when you're on the can.
He'll hunt you down and blast your ass from here to Pakistan.
Ohh.
You better not breathe, you better not move.
You better off dead, I'm telling you dude,
Santa Claus is gunning you down.

That, and girls like lizards, right?

Although Record LP's were dead by the year 2000, somehow they are around in 3000++. Even though most people in the year 2003 use cordless and cell phones; for some reason they still use phones with cords on them in 3000++. (See Zoidberg buying 2 record set in "Devil's Hands" ).
