I didn't get Cartoon Network at home, so I was excited to be finally able to watch Futurama on CN when I got to college... but I'm a little confused as to why the hell it's on at 12:30pm Mountain Time as opposed to the 9:30pm that cartoonnetwork.com says it's on. I know it was on at 11:30pm Eastern Time (where my home is) so why is it on later here? I couldn't find any information on this anywhere, and it's disgruntled me a bit as I don't really like to stay up until 1 when I have classes the next morning. Of course there isn't much I can do about it, but I was wondering if any of you have any information as to why this is? I am in the Santa Fe, NM area, if that helps.

Welcome to PEEL. Enjoy it here.
As for your question, Maybe CN's schedule was wrong? Or maybe you have the schedule in the wrong Time Zone?

I'm not implying that your stupid. But are you sure you're not looking at the TBS schedule?

Most stations broadcast an east and west coast feed.  I have satelite, and live in the west, and get both feeds on a lot of stations.  It is nice, because I can watch late night shows in the early evening and get to bed when I have too.

Anyway, The cable company in the mountain time show might choose the West v. East Coast feed (1 hr later versus 2 hours earlier).  If you ment that it showed 30 minutes after midnight, that would explain things.

newhook: being that I was looking on cartoonnetwork.com, I somehow don't think so. If you mean that I was looking at the TBS schedule to see that it was on at 12:30; I watched it on CN at 12:30, but was very tired.

Lionel: I suppose this is something I should have known, but pervious to now I've always lived on the East coast so I haven't had to deal with TV in different time zones. I don't really understand what a West vs. East Coast feed is but I'll take your word for it. I suppose I can always tape episodes I haven't seen yet.

I does sound like they are running the Pacific Time Zone showing.
