I thought I'd start a review thread for this episode, since it's airing again this Sunday.

I thought it was an average episode. Lots of funny stuff, but nothing that really stands out. Very typical early season 2 material.

I liked the political debate, and the Planet Express crew registering to vote was pretty sharp. Nixon was alright. Having him as a recurring character is funny, but he was kind of annoying in this episode.

I thought it was a pretty good episode. Bender played a great role in it with lots of funny moments.I really liked the names of the Parties with the "Fingerlicans" and the "Tastycrats" the two clones for leaders were also cool.   :)

in my opinion this episode was one of the better kind. it was cool because it mirrored the election campain in the us during the airing. I liked the cupboard in the presidents' room.

Quotes I liked most:

Attach brainslugs to them...
-Sure -- you say that now!

You get a discout when you've been here before.

You're out!

Nixon's back! Knock-knock!

and much much more, like Clinton's head's behavior towards Leela ;o)
And the CLINTON MONUMENT!

what happened to the former president McNeal?

This is not McNeal *bzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz*

And nearly forgot those quotes:

Dont let their identical DNA fool you. They differ on some key issues!
-I say your 3cent Titanium tax goes too far!
--And I say your 3cent Titanium tax doesnt go too far enough!

Only weirdos and mutants join third parties!

I thought it was a brilliant episode, if just for the closing scene.  In between, "Morbo would like to congradulate our gargantuan cyborg president.  May  death come swiftly to his enemies," the sight of a gigantic robot Nixon rampaging down Pennsylvania Ave., and the fact that that ep was the inspiration behind my UserName . . .

This ep. had some of the best political humor I've seen in ages. It's the kid of thing the Simpsons used to do, before they became too commercial.

I LOOVE it when Bender has no body! Ok, I have 2 admit, when he had that human body, before he was fat, he looked hot. I have a right to say something, gosh darn it!

8.5/10

This truly is a classic episode in my book. It has some good jokes, and the story itself was both clever and hilarious. Nixon is one of my favorite characters in the show, and the concept of him making a political comeback one thousand years after resigning from office as a head in a jar was very thought-out.

Also, this was one of the first episodes I saw, therefore it brought me one step closer to becoming hooked. :)
