 I'm totally confused, either I dreamt it, or it is real. I've got this episode running around my brain, and I can't find it...It's where Leela enters Nibbler in a pet compotition, and then Bender enters Zoidburg as well...also, Hypno-toads in it, and he wins the compo...any idea's ppl?!

Also, I did notice something, can't remember what episode it was, but, does the guy who does Fry, do the Professers voice too, because there was a song that Fry was singing and it sounded like the Professer....I think it was the Professer :s

Welcome, and yes - Billy West does Fry, the Professor, and Zoidberg (and various others I believe).

Yes, Billy West does the voice of Fry, the professor, Zoidberg, and several other characters. Also, please use the EDIT button instead of double posting.  :)

Careful SOL1D.  You don't want to get flamed for Triple posting.  Yes, Billy West does both Fry and the Professor, along with many others.

EDIT:  Teral, I must have beat you by half a second because right when I hit the "submit" button, it took me to the page and your post was right after mine!  Eerie....

Yeah, they're both done by Billy West.

He do Zoidberg and Zapp Brannigan as well.

Uhh, you mean you haven't heard about the cancellation? If no, then brace yourself for a shock: Futurama is dead, cancelled and buried by FOX.

There were 4 production seasons made, FOX stupid programming decisions meant they were spread over 5 tv seasons. And that's it. There wont be any new episodes.

well...the simpsons got it rite then "FOX SUCKS" lol

EDIT: But surely, FOX must have understood that it had a big following and has done really well, I mean...wouldn't that have run through there mind to let Matt carry on making it?

OK, I am a musician (if you want to call it that) and like other future shows and stuff, it's what the creators came up with. This is not true, but: Say in 1890 someone thought of a device with moving pictures, and of course today it's television; it's like that.  Who knows.

Also Teral is correct.  Fox hated the show, eventually cancelled it and tried to bury it deeper into the ground.

Also, DON'T TRIPLE or even DOUBLE post! Use the edit button please! It's your friend.

Yeah, if ratings were the only reason for it's cancellation, that would be a logic step to make.

But there's another reason: FOX simply doesn't get Futurama. They don't like it (David Cohen: "The bottom line is: the people who make the decision is not our biggest fans." ), they're severely disappointed that it's not Jetsons-meets-Simpsons, and first and foremost they took great offense when Matt refused the let them have any say on the direction and design of the show.

FOX: I want to change a few things, like this and this and this.
Matt: Forget, we do it my way or we don't do it at all.
FOX: I hate you, Matt Groening, and I hate Futurama

A bit simplefied, but you get the point.

Plus a few overinflated egos that got bruised, when someone told them the world didn't revolve around FOX execs.

Thanks for the welcome.

I had them too, but you really shouldn't. Ok, i'm not the type that will report you to the police, but Seasons 1-3 of Futurama (Production Season, which are bigger  :) ) are available on DVD, and it's a really good buy for a Futurama fan.

For details about how to fit in, visit The PEELers' FAQ.

Finally, welcome to PEEL!

Yeah, I guess. But I see no problem with having them, as long as you're going to buy the DVD when it comes out. I do have them all, but I also have the DVDs. But I'm still waiting for 3ACV DVD in the US. Hurry up, already!

What if you don't have enough money? Or don't have a DVD player? That's what the internet is for my friend. Free stuff. Yes free stuff for me.

I mean eventually, when they do come out, and seeing if my student loan will be able to cover it lol, I'll get them, but all this university living isn't cheap
   :laff:

EDIT: Think about it like this...if you made a film, a really good one, that everyone liked, you'd love to make money off of it, and yes yes, I know Matt's most prob got loads, but...still...its all worth it, and plus, it'll be better quality.

Then you shouldn't be paying for your connection or get the VHS version. That said i download loads of free stuff anyway and i did have the whole collection, but my HDD crashed and i lost everything.

Anyway, that was just some advice, i'm not gonna bitch about the ethics of downloading stuff (I do it loads anyway).

True True...really, everything on the net, that you download, its really a sampler in a way, because, its never going to be as good as the original!

But anyway, this is a no Downloadz discussion area, don't want the admin on my back on my first day lol

Just checked something, what's all this "Junior Member" stuff, don't they know the I'm an adult lol and plus, didn't they even watch Futurama, they'd know the Sr. is better than Junior, as in Scooty-Puff hehe   :laff:
