I don't want to be a pessimist, but I have very little hope of another channel picking up Futurama.  I've been through this before.  It was 1999, FOX was airing a whole slew of animated shows (some even had potential; I think we all know who I mean).  And ABC announced it would cancel what was then the best show on TV... Sports Night.  (No offense, Futurama, but it's true.)  Of course, NBC, who was having tons of luck with Sports NIght creator Arron Sorkin's other show The West Wing, considered picking the show up for their network, and my hopes were high... but no.  (Wow, this got real melodramatic real fast.)  And this wholse situation looks vaugly familier.  That said, I hope I'm wrong, but once bitten...
