Hmmm... i'm torn between "The Sting" and "Parasites Lost"... though i'll probably think of a couple of other contenders by the time i click on the "submit" button...

of course, honorary mention od "Jurrasic Bark" is mandatory, as the best ending you never wanna see again  :)

The Why of Fry.  They could have ended the series on that, and it would have been a great moment for shippers everywhere(still waiting to see if Devils hands tops it, if so, then there'll be a new #1 come Sunday night at 7:30)

I would have to go with FOABP.  What's not to like about the ceremonial drinking one's self to oblivion of Robanukah!  And Fry's neck in the photos!

"Leela's Homeworld" (cutest ending ever) or "A Head In The Polls" (NIXON'S BACK!!! What's not to like?)

Although "Xmas Story" was classic too.

I liked Xmas Story, that was a good funny ending, and it was probably the ending that had me laughing the hardest. For emotional endings it has to be The Sting though.

A bit off-topic, but that reminds me of another great ending - that of the comic book series "Preacher", the cover to it's last paperback was of a polaroid photo of the three main characters having good ole times... maybe Matt Groening and the Futurama folks oughta make a TV special in a couple of years, where they'd talk about the real story behind the show's demise, and they could make a 5 minute clip show with the highlights of the series, which could perhaps end with the FOABP's closing credits... though, knowing Futurama people, they'd probably put the ending of Jurrasic Bark, just to make us fanboys cry more, now that the show is no more...   :)

Hello (Good News) Everyone!
I agree with Teral,"a head in the polls" was funny.

For humor: Put Your Head on my Shoulder, the "Scary Door" episode at the end of Spanish Fry

For romance: The Sting, The Why of Fry, Love and Rocket, Parasites Lost

Not romantic but just plain cool, or emotional: Xmas Story, Jurassic Bark, Luck of the Fryrish

Best way to end the series so far: Ending of "The Why of Fry".

The scene at the end of "Love and Rocket" when Leela is resussitating Fry, so touching.

I really liked the ending to Love & Rocket where the candy hearts pour into the quasar forming a beautiful nebula. Zoidberg's narration coupled with the gorgeous animation make this a memorable ending.

Other great endings:

Parasites Lost
Luck of the Fryrish
Leela's Homeworld
The Sting

So many, it's hard to pick just one   :)

I do also like "Why Must I Be A Crustacean In Love?".
But i think the entire episode is funny, isn't it?

"And the Valentine hearts poured into the quasar, why not?" (paraphrased)

That was one of the best endings, for being both funny and kinda touching.  Jurassic Bark's ending is probably my favorite, since it was so brilliantly done.  I also liked Put Your Head on My Shoulder's as well, with Fry's spontaneous kicking.  And finally, The Sting, for being a great wrap-up to a trippy episode.

I've always liked the end to Teenage Mutant Leela.  Luck of the Fryrish and Jurassic Bark are probably better, but don't overlook Pazuzu.

3ACV04 "Luck of the Fryrish", 4ACV12 "The Sting", and 4ACV10 "The Why of Fry" have the best emotional endings by far. However, I just saw 2ACV07 "Put Your Head On My Shoulder" for the first time today on TBS, and the ending had me rolling. The animation of Bender's ass exploding was great.

For a bit of one-line Humour - 'Fear of a bot planet' - "Hey, you guys are good... How the hell do ya do that?!"

For a Tear jerk/emotional ending - Jurassic Bark, The Sting, Luck of the Fryish and a few others

EDIT: Ahh yes, SlashCo just reminded me about 'The Scary door' at the end of Spanish Fry... That was kool

Zoidberg talking about the Cand hearts pouring into the firey quasar. And how it destroyed "many many planets, including two cowboy worlds and a ganster planet." Absolutely hilarious. Whenever I hear "And a magical thing happened, why not?" I practically pee myself.

ZOIDBERG IS AWESOME!

I like luck of the fryrish and jurassic bark. they were very emotional.
I also like a pharo to remember, "set course for earth."...... "thats not earth.."
Benders ass exploding was really cool I also like the ending to zoidbergs homeworld. Yes, I also like "bonne nuit to you all..." That was creepy and funny at the same time
I'll probably think of some more when I've submitted this....

Endings I like:
- 'A Bicyclops Built For Two' - I like how it ends on a scene of the Planet Express ship moving through space  :)
- 'Luck Of The Fryrish' - A good song to choose from to end the episode. Also I like the scene showing the orbiting graveyard.
- 'The Sting' - Emotional, I liked it!
- 'Parasites Lost' - It's a really nice image  :)

If I have to name just one, I'll say "Leela's Homeworld".  Most emotional bit of TV ever, for me.
