Somehow this is possible - I KNOW it. If not CN or CC then who can do it? If a million fans donated a dollar each, that's an episode. I would surely pledge $13 per season to Futurama! :-)

There was an interview with the producer of the adult swim block. he was asked this question and straight out said that CN couldnt afford it and would need a Network sponsor, and also said that prime time animation was going through a rough patch with TV execs. so in other words, no network backer, no new futurama, end of story. here's a link to the news of interview, I think its on page 5 as I remember. http://www.gotfuturama.com/Futurama/News/1057901598,28552,/

As proven by the interview Grim linked to, CN KNOWS we want our show, they DO care about it, and they're doing all they can to make it happen. 99% it won't happen, though, because they simply do not have enough money. Writing letters won't do squat, because they already know what we want. Unless they find another network who is willing to partner up with them for this show, which is very unlikely, there will be no more Futurama.

TBS is the rerun network, and although they're owned by the abomination that is AOL Time Warner, TBS itself has a very low budget. I doubt they'd invest in a show as expensive as Futurama. CN is (I believe) owned by Turner. He has quite a heavy wallet too. So what?

Hell, I wouldn't mind. It would be better than CNN's usual load of shit.

MTV? No.
Give it up. Everything that could be done has been done. The naive hope of newbies is a cute sight, but your words are wasted here. We've become bitter husks of human beings who have long since given up hope of finding love seeing new Futurama episodes in this lifetime.

We'll still be here. Futurama comics are still around and fan-created work is still around, including a virtual seasons project I believe you've already been acquainted with. Some will leave, but the real fans aren't going anywhere.

No, the Anarchist Cookbook. You know, the book full of wonderful "recepies" for various "fun" things you could make and/or do. If you don't know what it is, search google.
