Prof.: ...And this is my Universal Translator. Unfortunately, it only translates into an incomprehensible dead language.

Cubert: Hello.

Translator: Bonjour.

Prof.: Crazy gibberish!

What about in Bend Her where
Bender: "my dreams died before they began."
Zoidberg: "welcome to my life" and starts crying.

Bubblegum: You can talk trash, you can handle the ball. But look into your heart and ask yourself: "Are you funky enough do be a globetrotter?" Well are you?

Bender: Yes

Bubblegum: Are you?

Bender: I mean, with time, my funk level could--

Bubblegum: Are you?!?

Bender: No.

Bubblegum: Deal with it.

Bumped, because the thread Danny just made will probably be closed.

It's pretty tricky narrowing a favourite moment down from 140 episodes. But I don't remember laughing at a joke as hard as I did during this exchange, in Reincarnation:

Amy: It seems their movements are a form of language. Rather than speaking Ja—
Transition Announcer: ENGLISH!
Amy: [continued] Like us, they speak by dancing.

Also, I could hardly breathe when The Professor stopped to kill Hitler in TLPJF. :laff:

I've forgotten a lot of the jokes in Season 7 (been a while since I've seen it), but I remember a few of them being extremely joke-heavy as well.

And you DIDN'T post a link to Danny's thread!?!

Oh, humans...

I'm terrible at picking favorites, but this little joke popped in my head earlier:

I'm not sure if it's my absolute favourite moment, but I love this bit from the first 'Anthology of Interest'...

Professor: Ohhh! You've killed me! You've killed me!

Leela: Oh god, What have I done?

Professor: I just told you. You've killed me!

I’ve just embarked upon a rewatch of the series in anticipation of the new episodes, and last night I was reminded of one of my favorite little runs of dialogue in the show, from “Love’s Labours Lost in Space”: the bit when Fry and Bender are speculating on how “Leela’s holding out for a nice guy with one eye” and decide that “what she ought to do is find a nice guy with two eyes, then poke one out.” Leela asks them to can it and, ignoring her, Bender helpfully offers a fork and says, “Here you go—you can use this as an eye-poker.”

Is it the most hilarious of moments? Probably not. But I love the laid-back (almost Seinfeldian) patter of Fry and Bender’s dialogue, and the delightful absurdity of the whole conversation, which also comes from genuine friendship and concern for Leela—like, it’s an incredibly good-natured (if also ridiculous) exchange. This moment also establishes the dynamic between the trio, with Leela being relatively no-nonsense but still incapable of extricating herself entirely from Fry and Bender’s nonsense (she does humor them, after all, by noting that any man with fewer than five eyes is fine with her). It’s just a really great early-run moment that always makes me laugh.
