One of the best episodes of all time...
The Bigfoot jokes, the Windows screen saver allusion... Bender is mean in the beginning but makes up for it when he pushed Fry's cage :)

Reminds me of A Pharaoh to Remember. A lot of people agree Bender is too mean. That is why Bender is so funny. He is mean but at some point makes up for it.

I've always thought this was on the worse side of season 4. It's arguably the best season though, so that doesn't really say much.

Spanish Fry definitely has it's share of laughs though. I particularly enjoy the camping scene at the beginning.

I found Bender's behavior in A Pharaoh to Remember a lot more tolerable. Then, at least, I could understand his actions, but in Spanish Fry he just seems cruel for no reason: "It's not a birds' nest falling, that sounds like this" (which was hilarious, but I thought cringe-worthy) and sneaking Fry away to look for Bigfoot. I didn't mind anything after that, really, but in the beginning it was a bit too much.

I didn't even think Bender was particularly mean, not more than he normally is. Maybe it's because he's not really part of the plot, he's just shouting the "that's what she said" jokes in background.

I'd say Spanish Fry is one of the weaker episodes, but it really stands out and the beginning was interesting.
