Bender is mean in the beginning but makes up for it when he pushed Fry's cage
Reminds me of A Pharaoh to Remember. A lot of people agree Bender is too mean. That is why Bender is so funny. He is mean but at some point makes up for it.
I found Bender's behavior in A Pharaoh to Remember a lot more tolerable. Then, at least, I could understand his actions, but in Spanish Fry he just seems cruel for no reason: "It's not a birds' nest falling, that sounds like this" (which was hilarious, but I thought cringe-worthy) and sneaking Fry away to look for Bigfoot. I didn't mind anything after that, really, but in the beginning it was a bit too much.
