hmmm, why is Lauren Tom credited as "Guest staring" ? If she does Amy (her voice ..), shouldnt she be mentioned as non guest?

oh, and before Fishy asks again: Lauren's Photo

Possibly because she's a second-tier actress (Pam Hayden, Russi Taylor, and Marcia Wallace also getguest-star billing, even though Mrs. Krabappel, Martin Prince, and Milhouse are regulars).

Yup, it's Lauren Tom who voices the greeting card.

The reason she's credited as a guest star is to do with contracts, in that Billy West, Katey Sagal & John DiMaggio all have long term contracts to appear weekly on the show where as people like Ms Tom,Tress MacNeille, Maurice LaMarche, Dave Herman etc are not and are only asked to do voices when needed (which yes, is nearly every week for most but it means they aren't tied to the show and could decide to leave with not much notice. Luckily they're honourable people and won't do that, plus, of course, who in their right mind would turn down good work?)

I think it also allows them to get more work... Lauren isn't tied down to Futurama, and can do KOTH and Max Steel, and Phil can do Static Shock and JLA....

Yes...an NBC sitcom starring David Alan Grier and Delta Burke(cough www.sue-me-delta-burke.com  cough). Better than most NBC sitcoms, but that's not saying much at all.
