Hmm, this is awkward.  I invoked the 24-hour rule,
but I don't want to step on any toes.  Moderator?

Your correct answer is stamped 06:57, M Jackson hasn't confirmed it, SamuelXDiamond confirmed it at 16:20, and I posted next day at 12:04, so I may have jumped the gun.   roll eyes I'll treat your graceful withdrawal as a favor.  I'll be more careful next time.  Sorry for the confusion, and thanks.

I'm repeating my question here (but the original timestamp holds):

The seal of the Inventor's Guild is disturbing to people of 2003 and 3003. Why?

Would it have anything to do with the spray-on toupee and the way aerosol depeletes the ozone layer?

<Sigh>, I didn't think about policy.  With a two-parter, it has to be all-or-nothing.  You're not there, Nix.  You folks are so smart I better not give the slightest hint yet.  Oops, I already did!

Sorry I didn't confirm the answer to my question, but i've been away. Just so that you know nobody has got the correct answer yet, but you can find it by listening to a DVD commentary. If you want to move on with Vintage Daves question, carry on, i'll reveal the answer just so that the matter is settled. But if you want to keep guessing, feel free....

So sorry, M Jackson!  All of you, I invite you to puzzle over both our questions.  Except, one of them should not lead to a new turn, just the pleasure of having figured it out.  Which one?  Let's leave it open for now.

Clue: Half of Nixorbo's guess is half the answer.

Useless but fun clue: There are two types of symmetry involved.

Has the other half something to do with the wheel, which seems to be forgotten technology in year 3003?

I'm clueless on both questions.  I'm finally here in time to answer a question and I don't know it! Nooo!

Mercapto has it, you smarty!  Honorable mention to Nixorbo for breaking trail.

Full answer: The seal shows a light bulb, a mouse trap, a wheel, and spray-on hair.  Spray-on hair is from the future and unknown to people of 2000; the wheel is from the past and unknown to people of 3000.  And that's the first symmetry.  The second is that (radial) of the wheel. (groan)

Well since the thread seems to be heading off without me, i'll reveal the answer to my question.
You have to admit it had you all stumped, yay a personal best for me! Nobody knew the answer!

Anyway the episode with the highest cell count is..............

Crime of the Hot.
Listen to the alternate commentary for Roswell That Ends Well of the S3 DVD's. The reason for the high number of frames is the huge number of seperately animated characters at the robot party.

For how many reasons was Leela demoted to co-pilot?

What connects:

"Raging Bender"

"Anthology of Interest I"
"Amazon Women in the Mood"

At first I thought it was that they were all in Season 2 but I realized Amazon Women in the Mood was in Season 3.  Then I thought it was that they all featured characters "getting it on"...

Farnsworth and Mom - Mother's Day
Amazonians and Fry and Zapp - Amazon Women...
Fry and Leela - AOI1

But alas there was no doing of the nasty in Raging Bender, so I have no idea.

And there are plenty of other episodes in which characters "get it on."

Okay, here's a hint: the connection involves only one particular character.
