I agree spinoffs are not the best way to go. Either bring back the original show or leave it be. However, ive heard roomers that there might be a film, does anyone know of this???

Yes I do!Just because I made a few errors doesn't mean i don't watch the show!

In my opinion, spin off work for some shows and for some show it doesn't.

I just got the best idea for a spin-off..EV-AH! Here it is:

---------------------------------------------
Hey, I just got a great idea for a Futurama spin-off - It'd be basically Futurama, BUT! - it would take place on Earth in a parallel universe - EXCEPT that this is one odd parallel universe, so while it'd all be set in the future - (drumroll) - it would all be set in the past.

here's some responses to logical questions about that spin off - but they're just lines from the chatroom, so nothing here's an organized paragraph.
---------------------------------------------
-parallel in the form of vertical parallel...le...lism...instea d of just flip-flopping, it'd be literally flip-flopped!

-damnit...it would be in the year 3000 like Futurama...but since it's a parallel universe, the parallel Earth would be in the past, so everything would happen in the past...during the future!

-take a rectangle...put a line down the middle of it. two rectangles, but on opposite sides of the line...mirroring each other...the future always seems to mirror the past, right?

-they run on the same line in the same plane...two lines with the exact same coordinates are parallel lines.

-*in response to someone's 'no, they're the same line' remark*fine...the universes lie on opposite sides of the same axis! happy now, vulcan?

Everything is parallel with you. How about some perpindicular action, or asymmetry?

well, a perpendicular universe would be funny, but as perpendicular means on the same plane, the two universes would collide with each other...so that IS impossible.

Well here are two spinoff ideas
1)  In the not so distant future in the suburbs of Long Island or Connecticut.  We watch Fry/Leela and their kid(s) and Kif/Amy and their kids living in familiar/suburbial bliss.  We through in Bender living in say Fry/Leela's attic or basement to give it that certain edge.

2)  Zoidberg staring in a C.S.I. sort of show because not only is he a brilliant medical doctor but has mail order degrees in Murderology and Murderonomy.  Also we through in Bender to give it that certain edge.
