It's the ITC that deal with what's on TV.

I couldn't believe C4 cut so much until i downloaded the first 2 seasons off the internet (before S3 had aired). HHRHGB was so much better with all the extra "Dirty Boy" stuff!

I didn't manage to see the un-cut episodes until I got the DVDs. I remember I was watching one episode from the first season and I was thinking "That's odd - this part was never shown on Channel 4!"

When I said Futurama was coming back to C4 next month I was just quoting from their Futurama website. But that seems to have disappeared so I don't know if its back at all.

It probably means it's going to be on at 7am again.  And cut to pieces.  "After all, it's a *cartoon*. So it must be for kids, right?"

7AM are the repeats they show (along with 1:30AM). They air it at 6:30 on Wednesdays (I think it was Wednesday anyway).

The ITC allows Six Feet Under on C4 and The Sopranos on Five (I think) unedited but won't let "Dirty Boy!" on?!? Come on! That's unbelievable! Compared to America, anything goes on broadcast TV in the UK!

Ugh. Well, that's why I listen to BBC Radio One and Radio 6 Music. (It's better than my local radio - if I was in DC or NYC I wouldn't have to - and commercial-free!) And I'm an American. I've got BBC Radio 6 Music on right now. My parents don't like R1's music, but I do.  :)

Note, Futurama is aired at 6:30, the "watershed" is 9:00. After 9:00 almost anything can be aired on TV.

The BBC's the slut of the entertainment world. Despite the fact only we Brits pay the licence fee, they broadcast everywhere (even Ireland.   :p). It's annoyingly selfless, I tells ya   :D.

If Futurama being shown at 7:00am, does that mean that crappy RI:SE is taking a break?

right I thank everyone who provided me with information as to when I could catch the next episodes here in the UK. Now I am once again faced with the same problem. Does anyone know when the next episode will be shown in the UK?

The last three episodes were aired three weeks after being aired in America.  By that logic "Spanish Fry" should air on August 3rd.  But don't hold me to that.  TV execs think that logic is a made-up word invented by Trekkies.

What the fuck? I didn't see it, and now you've given it away to me! What the hell were you thinking? Don't you know how the Spoilers thing works here? Thanks a lot.

It's a shame that we humans don't have a Bender-style 'erase' button', isn't it?

The slow paced humor of the first episode may have deterred potential viewers, the sad fact all its run its been compared to the Simpsons and is a sci fi show! Futurama needs a solid and appropriate slot, i dont blame the creators for this blunder, as they made it good, i blame the overly critical reviewers, the closed minded Simpson fans.
Futurama should be relaunched all over the shop at 8.30 PM for the Audience who will watch it.

Get real, Futurama at 8.30pm isn't going to happen. It never even happened for the Simpsons. The reason is, British terrestrial channels like to put British content on in primetime, with the exception of C4 Fridays 9 to 10pm.
I don't mind this, because I think Futurama at 6.30pm on a weekday is as good as it'll get, because the alternative is probably midnight or later.

As for the censorship, it was much better in season 3 (anyone see War Is The H-Word?), although there were a few pointless cuts.

Futurama used 2 be shown on channel 4 tuesday 6:30 then on wednesday 6:30. Sundays during T4 then 7am weekdays then 1:30 am Saturday mornings.
Rumours say that channel 5 or bbc has bought the show. Like wat happenned 2 Angel which is now shown at 8pm on mondays channel 5. Futurama may return september.
